Book for an incredible home away from home
I chose The Thompson for my honeymoon because of the beautiful design of the hotel and luxurious feel of the suites but the customer service at the hotel will keep my husband and I coming back. From the valet to the front desk and management, everyone was extremely nice. Korbin is by far one of the kindest employees at this hotel. It’s been a long time since I’ve stayed somewhere and felt like a valued guest. This place is incredible.

Had a great relaxing stay with good food!
Staff were so sweet, especially Korbin! We had some great food at the Moon’s Daughter, and the views up there are phenomenal! Hotel was clean, we enjoyed viewing all the different art, but though on the river walk it is further out from the main section.

Perfect retreat for a work trip
From the moment we arrived we had excellent service. From the front desk welcome drink to Zander who helped us with our bags, everyone was so polite and helpful. The rooms were so comfortable as expected with a Thompson Property. We also took advantage of the complimentary house car - a very nice service to offer. We will be back!

Odd layout, not close to downtown
Layout of the hotel is odd and uninviting. Only food and drink available are on the 20th floor, but nowhere to pick up food or sundries. The rooms themselves are lovely with thoughtful amenities. Bathrooms were spacious with extra touches,I.e., shower bath bombs. Great a/c in the room and bathrobes. Nice gym, with better than average cardio equipment though small. Great coffee bar with morning hours but with the lobby 20 stories down, not convenient. Hotel staff are professional and helpful. The hotel is a mile + from the pearl district, so with the heat, not walkable.

Great Hotel for Couples
This hotel and its decor was very sexy. The Serenity Suite was amazing and the oversized tub was a bonus. The complimentary transportation was a plus. The service was excellent. My only complaints are the pool bar closes at 5pm but the pool closes at 11pm, it should stay open later to accommodate the guest especially if you have a Cabana. Also, the pool no longer has a kitchen so your meals come from room service and the menu is very limited. It doesnt offer sandwiches or chicken tenders or just or small bites. Other wise great stay
