Thompson San Antonio Riverwalk

I had an outstanding experience at the Hyatt Thompson in San Antonio! From the moment I arrived until the time I checked out, every member of the staff went above and beyond to make me feel welcome. The entire team, especially Julie (front desk), Seth (valet) and Connie (car drop off service) was incredibly courteous, kind, and professional. Every interaction was met with genuine warmth, friendly smiles, and a willingness to help. It was clear that providing exceptional guest service is a priority, and their attention to detail truly made my stay memorable. It’s rare to encounter a hotel where every staff member consistently delivers such outstanding hospitality. Their positive attitudes and dedication created a relaxing and enjoyable experience that exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend the Hyatt Thompson to anyone visiting San Antonio. Thank you to the amazing staff for making my stay so comfortable—I look forward to returning!

We can’t speak highly enough about the incredible experience and staff at the Thompson! The front desk staff (shoutout to you, Mo) are always so friendly and go above and beyond to take care of the guests! Garrett and the spa staff are amazing as well. Can’t recommend The Thompson experience enough!

Worst experience ever, after ckeck out settling the bills 5 days back I was shocked a charge to my card for $125 today, this is unorofessional & should not never happened. Will never stay again at any of thompson Hotels property. This was my 2nd stay in last 15 days in San Antonio & Dallas. SAT experience was horrible, restuarant do not have ordered rink from Menu later is was send to my Room, which is good but 0 billing to charge $125 was kind cheating a customer.

Hotel its self was nice but the check in process was a terrible experience. I would not recommend a stay here as we experienced delay at check in rooms were not available until 5pm on top of this when I can to double check around 4:10 For an updated On check in which is 4 for the general hotel check in. During this time security approaches during my discussion with front desk staff where I was calm and polite, we were subsequently followed up to the pool area where I was relaying the update on the room to my mother. My father noticed this incident as he was standing off to the side while I spoke to front desk staff . This was my experience at this specific location, I have not had this experience at other Thompson locations . On top of this after these issues, we left for dinner and once we returned there was a note and a gift of nuts in my room and I have a severe nut allergy. I was not happy about this but did not want to further complain.

Connie is amazing, great personality and informative. Truly a pleasure makes you feel comfortable and welcomed.
