From the moment we arrived we had excellent service. From the front desk welcome drink to Zander who helped us with our bags, everyone was so polite and helpful. The rooms were so comfortable as expected with a Thompson Property. We also took advantage of the complimentary house car - a very nice service to offer. We will be back!

Layout of the hotel is odd and uninviting. Only food and drink available are on the 20th floor, but nowhere to pick up food or sundries. The rooms themselves are lovely with thoughtful amenities. Bathrooms were spacious with extra touches,I.e., shower bath bombs. Great a/c in the room and bathrobes. Nice gym, with better than average cardio equipment though small. Great coffee bar with morning hours but with the lobby 20 stories down, not convenient. Hotel staff are professional and helpful. The hotel is a mile + from the pearl district, so with the heat, not walkable.

This hotel and its decor was very sexy. The Serenity Suite was amazing and the oversized tub was a bonus. The complimentary transportation was a plus. The service was excellent. My only complaints are the pool bar closes at 5pm but the pool closes at 11pm, it should stay open later to accommodate the guest especially if you have a Cabana. Also, the pool no longer has a kitchen so your meals come from room service and the menu is very limited. It doesnt offer sandwiches or chicken tenders or just or small bites. Other wise great stay

I booked this as a mini-vacation for myself. Work had been brutal, I had unused Amex Fine Hotels + Resorts credit, and I wanted to treat myself at a property that markets itself as luxury. I was genuinely looking forward to it. I arrived around 12:30 a.m. after a delayed flight. On-site parking is painfully expensive, so I parked next door and saved about $20 a night. Check-in was the first red flag. I got the bare-minimum script and nothing else: no mention of my Amex FHR benefits, no Hyatt member welcome, no “we see your booking.” I even called Amex from the room to confirm the stay was recognized. It was. The hotel just never said a word. Then I opened the door. A curtain rod was leaning against the sofa, unattached from the window. That was the moment I knew this would not feel like a five-star stay. The rest of the room was only decent. Walls had obvious patches and sloppy paint. The bathroom was the one bright spot. I ordered Uber Eats and went to bed. One pillow reeked of body odor. I shoved it aside and slept. The next morning my phone was at 14%. The in-wall USB ports do not work. I tried to use my daily Amex breakfast credit and opened room service only to find the restaurant closed for the entire day — on a Friday. I worked from the room, then finally went downstairs to report everything. Management said housekeeping and a service team would come up. Housekeeping never appeared. Engineering did show up, reattached the curtain rod, and casually told me most of the wall USB ports in the hotel don’t work and I should use the ones on the phone. If they don’t work, take them out. Don’t leave dead outlets for guests to discover at 14% battery. The rest of the stay was more of the same. I was in town for Six Flags, SeaWorld, and a nearby convention, so I was in and out — and every day I found another problem. Room service substitutes items without telling you before delivery. Breakfast is bland and the menu is weak. The toilet stopped flushing at random. Staff had to come to the room three separate times to fix it. I have stayed at one- and two-star hotels that functioned better than this. For $1,000+ I will never get back, that is unacceptable.
