My boyfriend and I stayed in a suite for my 50th birthday. It was the most luxurious experience I have had in a hotel. There are no words to describe how beautiful the grounds are, it’s something you must experience! Our balcony overlooked the jungle where we enjoyed watching a toucan. Customer service was top notch, the complementary breakfast was amazing. We literally woke up excited to get to the breakfast restaurant. Thank you for making my birthday something I will never forget.

Extraordinary Hot Springs!
We decided to pick this place because of its unlimited access to the springs and we were not disappointed! The springs resort is beautiful with so many places to enter and enjoy the clear warm pools. With a regular shuttle to the springs from the hotel just down the road, we went several days and enjoyed plunging in and then lounging in the cabanas that were in the special Shangri-La area reserved for hotel guests only. Staff seemed very motivated to ensure guests were having the best experience during their stay at the hotel and springs. Best hot springs I’ve ever been to!!!

Amazing stay in Costa Rican rainforest
Amazing stay in Costa Rican rainforest in the shadow of Volcan Arenal. Staff is amazing, food is of high quality and rooms were large and clean. Access to hot springs is an exceptional benefit. Highly recommended property for stay in Fortuna.

Great Hotel, Unbelievable Spa
Lovely hotel with nice staff and well appointed rooms. Grounds are beautiful as is the the warm pool and bar/restaurant area. We did not eat there in the evening preferring to get an uber in to town for the bars there. The highlight though is the spa which has to be experienced to be believed. It is stunning, fed from the natural hot river and designed in keeping with its surroundings the rock pools and waterfalls make for a magical experience. The Shangrila area is reserved just for hotel guests and was never busy. Food, beverages and service are all first class.
