Andaz San Diego

From the moment I arrived at Andaz San Diego, I felt genuinely welcomed and taken care of. Angie at the front desk set the tone right away—warm, attentive, and effortlessly professional. She made check-in feel less like a transaction and more like arriving somewhere I already belonged. Up at the STK rooftop, Vanessa elevated the experience even further. Her attention to detail, friendly energy, and ability to anticipate needs made the entire evening feel seamless and special. It’s rare to come across service that feels both polished and personal, but she absolutely delivered. Together, Angie and Vanessa turned what could have been just another hotel stay into something memorable. They went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable, and more importantly, at home. I’ll definitely be back—and I’ll be recommending this place to anyone looking for an exceptional stay in San Diego.

Staff is friendly and great atmosphere. The shower windows need to be cleaned to get the windows clear and maybe fog resistant so you enjoy the full experience. But other than that great staycation spot close to everything including parking lots if you don’t want to do valet. But valet was super nice. You do carry your own bags because valet is a separate company but they help load carts and it wasn’t really problematic. Overall would stay again.

Great property, centrally located in the Gaslamp. Staff was excellent and the rooms are very comfortable and well apportioned..

Great suite with hotel right around the corner from gaslamp's 5th street. Very convenient location and great hotel. Will be back

The most unwelcoming hotel I've stayed at. Staff on reception lacked knowledge and were unhelpful, Rooftop bar was a rip off and the staff were really slow and inattentive. Apart from a couple the entire staff seemed to not want to be there and didn't have a brain cell between them. I would never stay there again. Avoid at all cost. Poor, ruined the end off our holiday.
