Nice west coast destination

The hotel is located in the Gaslamp district. It is within walking distance of many restaurants and clubs, as well as PETCO park! Overall a nice place to stay!

This hotel does not exist without Fernando. Amazing customer service. Best room. 10/10 experience. All other reviews did not change my mind. Thanks x 10

Andaz. Not the best experience for such a nice town.

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 2 weeks ago

When I got there, I asked the front person if it was safe to walk the neighborhood. They said it was as long as I walk to the right when I exit and not down the left side of the building. This was due to the large number of homeless visible from the front door. Room was loud from the outside noise. Even though the street down below was a hot nightspot till 2am the room was not adequately doctored to deal with it. The previous guest had left me two of their personal clothing items peeking out from under the cushions of the pullout sofa. Not my color. When I went to check out, I had to correct the front desk as they were trying to charge me for a breakfast on the roof. I only went to the roof for moment the night I showed up. Breakfast was provided for me everyday at the convention center. I asked to see the specifics of the charge and was told it was unavailable. Charge eventually was dropped. While I was waiting in front of the door for my Uber, I had to listen to a homeless woman scream about sexual abuse and sexual obscenities for 5 minutes until she peed and walked off. In response to a survey, someone from Hilton apologized but still kept all the money I spent for the experience.

A few short blocks from the bay

Clean, and friendly staff that were very helpful. Love the style of the hotel and the layout. Will return for sure. Rooms were clean and housekeeping was very responsive when things were needed. I love the fact that it was a quick walk to visit the bay and take in the sights. Great job!!

Families should stay away from this location

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 3 weeks ago

This hotel caters to groups and not really to families. The location is very close to homeless encampments and as such makes you feel very unsafe. Room service at this hotel will be very late. On 2/3 days it was done at 3:30 after we called them about it. Overnight parking is 70 which again seems excessive.
