Fairmont Grand Del Mar

Our stay at the Fairmont was seamless from to start to finish. The resort itself was stunning and the service was impeccable. The staff anticipated our needs and a really made the stay relaxing. Neil went above and beyond to ensure an excellent stay for us! Thank you!

This is a beautiful property with an outstanding golf course. We had a poolside suite that had a great pretty secluded patio to sit out and read. Steven was an excellent setting up all of our dinner reservations and Vlad at the front desk couldn’t have been more helpful.

Terrible service. The list is very long but most annoying was roof construction on a Sunday Labor Day weekend at 8 am. Unfortunately we interacted with one friendly employee and everyone else seems annoyed and extremely rude and unhelpful. Overpriced and not worth the stay

We stayed at the Fairmont Grand Del Mar over Labor Day weekend to celebrate our anniversary, and the service made it truly special. We arrived early in the day, and Tristan checked us in. He made sure we were taken care of from the start, even arranging for chocolate-covered strawberries and a handwritten note to be delivered to our room for our anniversary. Throughout our stay, Tristan consistently went above and beyond. Any request we had was handled quickly and graciously. It's rare to feel so genuinely looked after, and it made our celebration unforgettable. Thank you, Tristan, and thank you, Fairmont Grand Del Mar. We can't wait to come back!

We arrived at the Fairmont Grand Del Mar very late at night, tired and expecting a quick, by-the-book check-in. Instead, Vlad at the front desk gave us one of the warmest welcomes we've had at any hotel. He was polite, patient, and attentive, made sure every detail of our stay was taken care of, and went above and beyond to accommodate us despite the hour. Nothing felt like an inconvenience to him. That level of care and professionalism is rare at the end of a long day, and it set the tone for our entire stay. Vlad is a credit to the Fairmont team, and the Grand Del Mar is lucky to have him.
