Our family recently had another wonderful stay at Fairmont Grand Del Mar, and it reminded us why we love coming back. This was our second visit to the resort, and from the moment we arrived, we felt genuinely welcomed and cared for. Even with a busy arrival area, the valet team greeted us right away and was eager to help. Check-in was smooth, and the front desk agent took the time to walk us through everything we needed to know about the resort. What truly stood out was the thoughtful surprise gift they gave our little one. It was such a kind gesture and immediately made our stay feel extra special. The property itself is absolutely beautiful. Our room was spacious, comfortable, and spotless, with a lovely view of the golf course. Waking up each morning to the peaceful scenery and crisp air was incredibly relaxing. It felt like the perfect escape from our busy routine. We also enjoyed the excellent room service, which offered a great variety of options for the entire family. At the pool, we were warmly welcomed and regularly checked on by the staff, who made sure we had everything we needed. Those small touches of attentiveness made a big difference. What makes Fairmont Grand Del Mar truly exceptional is its people. Every staff member we encountered was friendly, kind, and genuinely invested in making our stay memorable. As parents, we especially appreciated how warmly they treated our child and how comfortable they made our family feel throughout our visit. Thank you to the entire team for another unforgettable stay. We left with wonderful memories and are already looking forward to our next visit.

This review is primarily for the customer service I received from Tristan at Fairmont Grand Del Mar in August 2026. I am a routine traveler throughout the world and have stayed at many hotels. It is with no question Tristan exemplifies outstanding customer service for guests at the Fairmont Grand Del Mar. Traits that define him are character, collaborative, supportive, encouraging, competent, and intentional. He was able to provide me as a guest with the necessary accomodations, suggested recommendations, honor my reasonable requests, and lastly guide me to my room on the first floor. This was done during his late night shift. He did all of this voluntary and as a deliberate choice. The work that he did spoke volumes. Customer service specifically provided by Tristan gives me the confidence of wanting to return to Fairmont Grand Del Mar to continously seek this kind of experience. I had an excellent time and stay at Fairmont Grand Del Mar in which I owe much of it to Tristan.
