Kona Kai Resort and Spa

This was a pleasant surprise! This was our first time booking this resort and we are looking for to coming back hopefully before summer is over. However, we definitely plan to make visiting the resort at least once a year :)

Horrible experience. Room outdated. Air conditioning broken. No room service but advertised that there was. Staff rude. Drinks by the pool were watered down and bland. Never stay here again

The staff at this resort made sure my daughter and I had a relaxing visit during our stay. The concierge, a nice young man, made us feel welcome. The restaurant has delicious food, and the fire pits were a great place to relax in the evening , while enjoying s’mores. The walking path along the water across the street was so nice! We made sure to get our steps in. The beds were comfortable too! I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway.

Rooms were outdated, small and don't resemble the 3D tour of the room. Maybe I was placed in a room that had not been remodeled. The bathroom is very outdated as well. Restaurant is overpriced for the quality of food.

The hotel’s location is excellent, quiet, convenient, and in a great area. The staff were also friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout our stay. Unfortunately, the room itself was disappointing. We stayed in a two-queen-bed room, and both beds had the same issue. They appeared to be worn out or possibly broken, making loud creaking and squeaking noises with even the slightest movement. As a result, we had a very poor night’s sleep. I believe this is a significant issue that the hotel should address. A comfortable and restful sleep is one of the main reasons people stay at a hotel, especially at this price point. While the location and service were excellent, the condition of the beds had a major negative impact on our overall experience.
