Manchester Grand Hyatt San Diego

Absolutely beautiful hotel! The bed was fantastic and extremely comfortable, and we loved the interior design: modern, stylish, and very functional. The staff were another highlight. Everyone was extremely professional, knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly throughout our stay. The location is perfect, right on the San Diego waterfront and within walking distance of many of the city’s main attractions. The hotel has modern facilities and a convenient location, with many places in San Diego within easy reach. Unfortunately, our stay was significantly affected by a serious noise issue on the upper floors. We were initially assigned a room on the 32nd floor. After falling asleep, we were awakened by a loud mechanical noise. We recorded the sound and went to the front desk shortly after 1 a.m. to request another room. Clarissa quickly assisted us and moved us to the 31st floor, but the new room had the same problem. We struggled to sleep and reported the issue again later that night. Two officers came upstairs to investigate. I am sorry that I did not remember their names, but they were thorough and took the issue seriously. They determined that the noise might have been coming from a pump and explained that there was no immediate way to fix it. We were then moved to the 21st floor, where the noise was no longer present. Although the repeated room changes and noise left us with very little sleep, every staff member we encountered was warm, friendly, and dedicated to helping us. Clarissa handled our late-night room change quickly, and Debra was always responsive, welcoming, and helpful whenever I had questions. I am very grateful for their assistance. I would stay here again on a future trip to San Diego because of the location, facilities, and excellent staff. I only hope the hotel resolves the pump or mechanical noise affecting the upper floors before then.

Great hotel, amazing location, fantastic staff, especially Bazel at the front desk! Best hotel check in ever. We even received a free harbor cruise which was a lot of fun and very interesting.

This Hyatt reminds me of why I am loyal to the Hyatt brand. The hotel is breathtaking. The service is outstanding, across every single staff member you talk to. Even the breakfast buffet at the Seaview restaurant was delicious. Thanks for everything, Alek!

It is a lovely hotel with great location. The only problem we had was that we booked club level and it was closed . So we paid for benefits we did not receive.
