Amazing 10th birthday experience

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 7 hours ago

This was a trip to celebrate my son’s 10th birthday and the hotel exceeded our expectations. He received a massive personal chocolate cake, bottled juices, and a kind card. The location to ballpark, Seaport Village, and the USS Midway was great and super walkable. Even though the restaurant in the hotel was under renovation, the substitute restaurant, Sally’s was a pleasant surprise with great breakfast buffet options. And it is steps from the hotel. Market One inside was what we needed to pickup snacks and drinks for the evening. Lots of options including beer and wine. Plus it includes a Starbucks! Overall, the whole experience was wonderful and we will definitely be back.

Amazing Stay in the Perfect San Diego Location!

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 8 hours ago

We had an absolutely wonderful stay and cannot wait to return. The location was perfect—just a short walk to Seaport Village, the waterfront, and so many fantastic restaurants and attractions. One of the highlights of our stay was the food. The breakfast was absolutely delicious and a great way to start each day. We also loved the restaurant and bar on the 40th floor. The views were stunning, the atmosphere was beautiful, and the drinks were excellent. Watching the city and harbor from above was an unforgettable experience. What truly made this hotel stand out was the customer service. Every team member we interacted with was friendly, professional, and genuinely focused on making our stay exceptional. Their attention to detail and hospitality exceeded our expectations. From the incredible location and dining options to the outstanding service, everything about our stay was top-notch. We highly recommend this hotel and are already looking forward to our next visit!

I had a great stay!

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 8 hours ago

Great stay! The hotel was in a convenient location close to the water, making it easy to enjoy the surrounding area. The staff was very friendly and accommodating throughout my stay. They were able to check me in early, which I really appreciated, and went out of their way to accommodate my needs. Overall, a comfortable and enjoyable experience, and I would happily stay here again.

Great location, great hotel, and excellent Staff.

The hotel was is a prime location closer to many attractions such as Seaport Village, beaches, USS Midway, Convention Centre, transit system, downtown, airport, parks, etc. The hotel is well maintained with good rooms, well maintained. Rooms have USB and USB-C connections for people travelling from outside North America. Food is pricey on site but lot of other options closer to the hotel. Overall, great hotel and service.

All around terrible experience - how do they have a 4th star?!?!

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 18 hours ago

- they tried to sell me on a bad room as though you're doing me a favor; really strong distaste from that, they did allow a room change but we had to pay for bellhop service to move our stuff to the new room - contact: we were stuck in the parking lot because of a key problem and found it extremely difficult to contact the front desk, like ridiculously, it took 20 mins of searching and trying and we still had to go inside and wait in line to finally get some help. And the help button on the kiosk did not produce a response. Completely unacceptable. they didn't charge us for parking that day but that's not actually a benefit for business trips, should have offered something useful and didn't. - even difficult to get front desk from the room due to AI gatekeeper - houskeeping pranked us: TWICE they left the hand-held shower pointed directly out of the shower at the person turning on the shower, and also they left it as the only flow which is just rude, we left it on main shower as the only flow - the lobby smelled like a mix of vomit and BO were attempted to be covered with fabreese (or whatever nasty perfume). It was hard to walk through every time. Other areas also had bad smell. - fridge is the loudest I've ever heard, literally screams AND is bolted down so we couldn't move it or even unplug it. I still have tinnitus from the thing. - TV extremely hard to get to the input menu for HDMI connection, and then it only worked on second try through whole sequence - robes should be in the room, not for request only when we're not told that - microwave in room would have been nice, there was plenty of space - the provided coffee was terrible - the room was dusty, not sure the source but I was allergic (and I had my own pillow).
