Manchester Grand Hyatt San Diego

The hotel/rooms are outdated. The bathrooms are run down. There aren't adequate phone charging options on either side of the bed. The A/C unit did not maintain the desired temperature.

Good overall experience! Very clean and impressive hotel. Had the remodeled rooms on the 29th floor and that was a treat. San Diego is such a beautiful city! Staff was great, at the front desk, as well as , the room maintenance team. Beds were very comfortable. Great buffet, great selection, cook to order omelets available, and more. Remodeling ongoing, so not all benefits were available.

My sisters and mother stayed for one night, booking 2 rooms for 5 persons to celebrate our mother's birthday. There was slight mishap with one of the rooms that was booked (no fault of the Hyatt), and delayed the check-in on one of the rooms. Albert and the Hyatt manager were so kind and understanding, they upgraded one of the rooms to a penthouse suite ont eh 30th floor and comped us breakfast for the delay - how absolutely wonderful was that! Both rooms were connecting and was very roomy even for 5 persons! The penthouse had beautiful views of the harbor and city, had 3 bathrooms, huge living room with a sectional sofa bed, full dining room, a kitchenette with fridge and microwave, and...a Nespresso coffee machine ! I had a great time making espresso martinis with that bad boy! There was no time to tour this resort, but we loved the rooms!

We had a great experience at the Manchester Grand Hyatt. It's a great location for a conference and I enjoyed taking my daughter and husband with me.

I had a wonderful stay at the Hyatt Manchester in San Diego. Even though the property is in the midst of updates, the hotel handled everything seamlessly—no disruptions, no clutter, just smooth operations. The staff was above excellent: friendly, attentive, and genuinely helpful at every turn. My room was quiet and comfortable, and the views were absolutely gorgeous—exactly the kind of scenery you want to wake up to. Overall, it was a very peaceful experience from check-in to check-out. Highly recommend.
