Loved our stay here, one of our family's favorites! We opted for public transportation instead of renting a car because of its convenient location, and thought it was a great way to experience the city. The property is situated near the harbor; the view from our complimentary upgraded room overlooking the harbor was beautiful! Excellent customer service all around. Thanks to Blaire for the awesome welcome amenity since we were celebrating a special occasion. The chocolate cake was massive and delicious! I also wanted to acknowledge Tre for his attentiveness in opening the front doors as any guest returned to the hotel. Even though he is a valet and this was totally an extra gesture on his part, this attentiveness to guests really helped to make this feel like a top-tier experience. I also appreciated Jingle, who was great with communications leading up to and after our stay! We had breakfast and dinner appetizers/desserts in the lounge. Enjoyed the variety of foods that fit different dietary preferences [vegan/vegetarian, gluten-free options].

The hotel staff was super friendly, they helped us with every small requests patiently and with a smile! The hotel room was newly renovated, it was new, modern, spacious and comfortable with great bay view. The one I like the most is the motion activated night light under the bed. They also have many complimentary activities such as bike rental, kayak rental, harbor cruise, etc... We took a one-hour harbor cruise for free at sunset. The view was amazing!

Worst Hyatt experience in years for a loyal Hyatt Globalist and Hyatt shareholder. Horrible breakfast chaotic experience. Too many people eating mediocre food. Better food is served at Hyatt Place and Hyatt House. Cheated you at the front desk with higher room rates then your reservation. Must be new owners as the Manchester used to be Grand. Not anymore.

I visited the hotel for a two day business trip earlier this week. The location, next to Seaport Village and near the Convention Center and Gaslamp Quarter is outstanding. Yessica, at the front desk, was wonderful and very helpful during check in. My wife and I enjoyed spectacular water views on the 27th floor and were far away from the elevator. I highly recommend the Manchester Grand Hyatt for business and leisure.
