What can I share about this hotel - everything was amazing. The hotel was very well staffed. We had a small issue with the booking and got upgraded to a suite, which was lovely and very appreciated. Literally steps to the beach and the hotel's availability of beach items was incredibly helpful, and there was never a shortage or wait for anything. Facilities were all very clean. Restaurant quality was high and the fire performance was the perfect form of entertainment for the summer, for all ages. The bedding was a little warm for my taste, but the rest of my family didn't feel that way so may just be individual preference. Would definitely stay here again, no question!

My husband and I travel to Pacific Beach once a year to spend time with my son who lives there. This was our first stay at Pacific Terrace. We loved the laid back vibe. The staff are all amazing and it's obvious that they really care. The room was spacious and clean and thoughtfully decorated and maintained. There was some outside noise because our room faced a side street but we had a wonderful view of the ocean. We have stayed at other resorts in the area but from now on, this is where we will stay.

The location is ideal for the view, restaurants, and walking path. The sound of the ocean is magical, and the rooms are beautiful and bed so comfortable. The front desk and all staff were beyond helpful -have beach chairs, umbrellas, and boogie boards were a huge bonus.

Excellent hotel. The staff was outstanding; helpful, friendly and professional. You cannot beat the location of the Pacific Terrace Hotel, right on the beach with mostly oceanview (at least) rooms. Also it is right on the ocean walk which has a lot of activity, but just outside the real hub of PB, so you are not overwhelmed. The rooms are generously sized, seriously the biggest hotel rooms I have stayed in. it made the stay so much nicer to make the room more like home instead of tripping over luggage. If you are looking for a nice boutique hotel right on the best beach, stay here. If you want a corporate hotel, maybe not for you, but I would take this hotel over a Marriott, IHG or Hilton brand 100 times out of 100.

The pacific Terrace Hotel was quite possibly the best hotel I’ve ever stayed at! I’ve stayed at the Don Cesar in St Pete Beach Florida, all the way to the Savoy in London, and this place takes the cake! Let’s get right to it… At check-in they have flavored water at the desk and you get two bottles of Evian in your room. Everything I needed in the room was right there. Outlets, trashcan, tissues, lights, switches, remote, everything. We were only staying three nights and two days so I said I probably did not need maid service. They asked what did I need? Was I low on anything? I said we could use a roll of toilet paper and another soap. They brought that within 30 minutes. Then, they texted the next day to inquire if I was sure I did not need housekeeping the second day, any assistance or anything replenished! The only thing I could say if I had to say something would be the room isn’t completely dark when it’s light outside. The wooden doors don’t really cover the sun and I stayed on Indiana time so we went to bed at 7 PM Dan Diego time. It’s minor and that’s not their problem. They have beach chairs, beach towels, umbrellas, all at the desk and all free! Just ask! Parking is $45 a night but it includes valet so you can drive up and they will do the rest. The gym is in the basement and is very small, only one or two people will fit comfortably, but it’s California, just go outside and walk or run! Our trip was in June, so it was 60° or less at night and I wore a hoodie everywhere I went all day every day and one morning, I wore long pants. This place is a dream! If you go to Kono’s Café, be ready to stand in line an hour outside! Oh, and you have to go get a separate line for coffee! Good but nothing is that good lol. However, go a couple blocks over to the botanist barista and you won’t be sorry!
