This is our second stay with Paradise Point and it won't be the last. Friendly staff, clean rooms, great amenities, amazing views. The on-site restaurants are so good. We love staying here!

Our stay at Paradise Point was mediocre at best. The grounds are nice and the staff were mostly friendly. The trees, plants, and wildlife were the most fun as well as being right on the water. We were lucky to have an oceanfront suite and enjoyed that very much. For the negatives, it's sadly a long list. The rooms were outdated with unintuitive electrical and half of it wouldn't work without a key card inserted. Many lights were motion activated, but even after a week we couldn't figure out how to use them properly to prevent the lights shutting off while in the shower. The beds were horribly uncomfortable and the sheets like sandpaper. The pillows were half the size of a standard pillow and the fold out couch was awful for our teenage son. You can hear everything your neighbors are saying probably due to the pass-through doors. We had everything from normal conversations, to kids yelling and having fun, to loud arguments and nonstop swearing over a bad run of diarrhea of all things. Not the most fun while trying to sleep, but we did giggle a little! At least until the world's loudest AC unit kicked in and drowned out everything else! The AC was either full blast or nothing at all which gave us bad upper respiratory irritation. The main family pool was pretty bad - the water was so heavily chlorinated that you couldn't see the bottom. One morning we made the mistake of attempting the hot tub and it was so murky and gross with hair and debris that we left. The adult hot tub was usable. The beach the oceanfront suites are located on is public as are the fire pits. So if you want to claim one for the evening, park your stuff there early or you'll miss out. Also, we expect resort prices to be higher, but be prepared to pay ridiculous amounts on site. Also, be prepared for not just all the extra fees, but then all the extra taxes for those extra fees which came to a grand total of 117.92 extra per day on top of the room rate (we had a discounted $10 parking rate that's included which is typically higher). This wasn't a great place for a week long visit. Most of the people we chatted with were local staying for 1-3 days coming from various parts of SoCal. Needless to say, I doubt we'll ever go back.

We enjoyed our stay at paradise point. All their staff were friendly and accommodating. There was no problem with our early check in. The room was clean. Delicious food at barefoot and tidal. We enjoyed kayaking. We also enjoyed our afternoon swim in the pool. The entire resort is beautiful.

We booked through Carlos and had multiple rooms we also booked the party deck and reservations for barefoot Bar and Grill. Carlos told me that he would be there on Friday the 10th so I told him I would come in and talk to him the girl at the counter would not listen to me I told her that I was paying for all the rooms but everybody had to put a credit card on for their incidental she was very obstinate and would not listen to me it got extremely confusing when others came up they tried to get the full amount for the room instead of the incidental the whole thing was an ordeal that was not pleasing. To make it worse one of the people that were in our group went and got a spa treatment and you guys gave them the option to put it on our work credit card that I used to pay for the reservations. I spoke with Robert he said everything would be getting taken care of however as far as I can tell nobody got a $26 credit if it wasn't one thing it was another very petty very disorganized and kind of a money grab we've been supporting and being going to paradise point since the early 90s and we have booked several business events there in the past for you guys to treat us the way you did this time pass us off and make us feel stupid when the gal on the front I'll go sit down it's like you treat us like garbage it wouldn't listen to us and still to this day I'm not sure who got what credit as I'm going through the receipt that you sent us things don't add up I don't know who to talk to I don't know who to trust this place used to be really good it's going downhill quick
