Rancho Bernardo Inn

Just stayed at this resort attending a conference. I stay at many hotels and I was extremely impressed with the service provided by each and every member of the hotel staff. The property is beautiful and very well maintained as far as cleanliness including the rooms. The food at the restaurants was exceptional as were the drinks. They have a driving range on-site and the golf course was also very well maintained and very picturesque. There is a coffee shop on-site as well that makes all the specialty Starbucks coffees and the fresh croissants they sell in the morning are probably the best I’ve ever had (plain, almond and chocolate filled). Management should be commended as well as their staff for the excellent experience they provide to their guests.

This review is for SAMMY in housekeeping and MICHAEL (?) front desk concierge in the AM at checkout. Both gentlemen went above and beyond to smooth inconsistencies in the booking and check - in and check - out process. Our request for an ADA room was granted, however, the room provided was second floor, far from the lobby, and accessible by an elevator that did not consistently work. When Sammy found us wandering the grounds lost and confused, he personally escorted us to our room, found the elevator did not work, had our senior family member sit down and wait, organized our upgrade to a close and ground level Suite upgrade, and escorted us to our new room. Fantastic! Above and beyond. Michael facilitated a mix up with the parking situation, explained our options, and comped the first night parking immediately as the situation was unclear. One suggestion is that the grounds are large. It is easy to get lost. The hotel may consider better signage or a policy of accompanying guests to their room upon check in. Thank you.

Had a great time at this resort, as usual for the valet, to the front desk, restaurants and spa, great service!

Easter Sunday lunch/brunch outside at the Veranda Restauatant overlooking the golf course was wonderful. Our server Debbie was exceptionaal; very knowledgable, attentive, and personable. The food was great and Debbie's service made our lunch quite enjoyable...excellent server...thank you!

I stayed at Rancho Bernardo Inn over Easter weekend to relax and unwind. The location is a quick drive from Los Angeles. The valet staff were very welcoming and quick. Michael/Mikey at the front desk was very friendly, efficient, and provided each guest with undivided attention. He quickly and clearly explained to me the hotel amenities and kindly offered help to get my things in my room. On my way to my room, I met Jose, the room service manager. He was very pleasant to talk to and gave me a very warm welcome! He brought white wine and macarons to enjoy on a beautiful afternoon, out in the balcony watching golfers driving/walking around. When I walked around the property, I noticed the staff were very friendly and felt very secure. Late lunch at the cafe was very good. I met up with couple of family members and we got out food quickly. We all enjoyed our meal but they made the waffle extra special that day. I had a great time at Rancho Bernardo Inn and will definitely go back!
