Tower23 Hotel

This was our 2nd time staying at Tower23. We came back because we were so impressed after the first visit. Our room was perfectly located and appointed. The front desk staff (shout out to Steve!) were so nice and attentive. The valet staff were also engaging and helpful. Another benefit was the delicious food and friendly bar staff at JRDN. Thank you! We will be back!

Had the most extraordinary experience at Tower 23! I’ve gone every summer to San Diego and stayed at various places from condos to hotels! This was by far the best place to stay! Everybody from the restaurant to the front desk to the housekeeping was so wonderful! The hotel and the rooms are immaculate. When I was checking out, there was this gentleman who asked how everything was! And I told him phenomenal!! He said wonderful. I hope you come back again! I asked his name and he said. Luis. He was so charming. Even when he was chatting with me, everybody that walked by every guest, he raised his head and smiled at and acknowledged. That to me is so important in hospitality. I found out he is the operations manager! No wonder everything was so perfect from beginning to end. Clearly it comes from the top down!!! Can’t wait to visit again!!!

Location is perfect, hotel staff perfect, property is in excellent condition. Only downside is the onsite restaurant, food is consistent, however the level of service varies day to day, sometimes great, sometimes very poor.

I have been going to Pacific Beach for 20 years. I have always wanted to stay at Tower23. I finally booked a solo trip and I'm so glad I did. It was wonderful and worth it!! It met every expectation I had for my stay. The location is perfect. The staff was excellent, accommodating and friendly. My room was clean and the Malin+Goetz bathing products were deluxe! I'm hooked. I dined at JRDN for a breakfast, lunch and dinner. Maudi is my favorite- years and years of service. She is the best. I borrowed a boogie board, lounge chairI and enjoyed the beach. I took a bike to the farmer's market and around town. I relaxed on the tower level looking out at the sunset- dreamy. My stay was everything I hoped it would be. I will be back - sooner than later. Worth it- book now! you will thank me later. :) Thank you to the amazing staff for an soul fulfilling, dreamy experience.
