The Westgate Hotel

I have mixed feelings about this hotel, it is good but could be much better in my opinion. We had an odd and very long wait at check in, Jason, seemed to take forever whilst the other reception agent was more efficient. Our room was spacious and well appointed, the bed and pillows were comfortable enabling good sleep. We had a slight issue with the shower, there were 3 controls, unclear what each did (and we’ve stayed in many hotels with many different showers). It also leaked badly onto the floor as the screen was inadequate. We had been led to believe that there was a cocktail bar but there really isn’t. The lobby has a strange ambience which could be better used. If you sit in this beautiful area, it takes forever to get served by staff that come from the restaurant. The first night there was live music in the lobby and several people enjoying this but the second night there was nobody there to listen to the band which was quite sad. We thought that much more could be done to keep the hotel guests there in the evenings. It was also off putting to be advised by front desk staff, when we asked for directions to restaurants etc, to avoid certain streets due to the number of “transients” there. We chose to have breakfast on our last day and this was very good. All in all, a good but not great stay.

Such an amazing hotel with great service, great environment. Sarah Mariana Kariah was helpful and great! It was a great experience. The staff were friendly and welcoming from the moment I arrived, and check-in was quick and easy. My room was clean, comfortable, and had a beautiful view. The amenities were solid — the gym was well-equipped, and the breakfast buffet had a nice variety of options.

Gorgeous hotel. David checked us in and he was wonderful! We had a beautiful suite on the 18th floor. Lots of room, pretty views, marble bathroom and two mini fridges. The pool area was very nice as well. The only thing keeping this from being a 5 star trip was the restaurant. The eggs & Italian sausages were over cooked & the toast was black. Took 20-25 minutes to get a beer. We parked at Broadway Circle for $15. All in all a very nice stay.

My experience at the Westgate Hotel was truly exceptional from start to finish! The atmosphere is elegant yet welcoming, and everything about the stay exceeded my expectations. A special shoutout to Sarah, David, and Keanna — they made my stay unforgettable! Sarah was incredibly kind and attentive, always making sure everything was perfect. David went above and beyond to help with recommendations and made me feel completely taken care of. And Keanna was so friendly and professional — she has such a warm personality that instantly makes you feel at home. The room was spotless and beautifully designed, the amenities were top-notch, and the service throughout the hotel was outstanding. You can really tell that the staff cares about their guests and takes pride in creating a memorable experience. If you’re visiting the area, I can’t recommend the Westgate Hotel enough! Thanks again to Sarah, David, and Keanna for making my stay so special — I’ll definitely be coming back!

I often choose the WESTGATE for my stay. It provides a lovely atmosphere and great location and you are also very well looked after by the team. I must say hotel staff are extremely welcoming and attentive especially Natalie, who always makes me feel at home when there.
