Great therapists at this boutique spa at Hotel One. A nice relaxing couples massage was a nice addition to a hotel stay

Nowhere to eat but an awful cafe with wierd menu including sweet potato waffles, etc. stayed here with my family and was expecting a nice sit down breakfast with a waiter like when it was Hotel Vitale. Now it’s a walk up cafe. Basically glorified Starbucks. Disappointing for a nice hotel. We won’t be back since the food options are so terrible.

1 Hotel San Francisco is a relaxing haven within the beautiful, bustling city. As a returning guest, I remembered how beautiful it was and how amazing it smells, and the ambience puts you at ease. What I want to write about, though, is the exceptional customer service we received. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by Avis and Malik who helped us with our bags and even gave us a tutorial of the complementary e-bikes! We were having an issue with our reservation through our credit card, but Maria was kind, patient, and helpful in guiding me through what to do. She went above and beyond to get us into our room as quickly as possible, remembered our names and said “hello” in the hallways, and checked on us throughout our stay. Thank you Poonam, Julie, and Savannah for being so kind and friendly! You all are fantastic! We will be back again!

From the moment I checked in, this felt like a true luxury hotel. The design is beautiful and cohesive, with a lot of attention paid to the little details that make a stay more comfortable. The toiletries were excellent, the amenities felt thoughtfully curated, and the service was consistently friendly and helpful throughout my stay. I also appreciated the refillable water stations on each floor with the in-room carafe. It’s a small touch, but one that fits the hotel’s approach. The rooftop beehives were another unique detail that gave the property some personality. The restaurant was good, although I found the breakfast selection a bit limited. That said, the location is hard to beat. Great views, easy access to public transit, and within walking distance of many of San Francisco’s main attractions. It’s not cheap, but if you’re looking for a luxury stay in a prime location, this place delivers. TIP — Ask for a higher-floor room if available; the views are one of the highlights of the property.
