The Battery is one of the most unique venues in the world...they do a phenomenal job at every level around F&B, hospitality, events and the rooms are the best in SF. I always look forward to walking through those doors!

The Battery is my go to hotel every time I travel to SF for business. Brian and his entire team at the front desk are world class. I was there one trip and learned that I left my laptop charger at home. Had critical work to complete that night and there were no stores open. Brian went above and beyond and found a charger for me to use onsite which an avoided a major business issue for me. Joey and the entire restaurant team can’t be beat. He makes me feel like I’m at home away from home. Whenever I entertain clients or family at the restaurant the attention to detail is 5 Stars! I owe thanks to the Battery for a few client relationships and deals that got closed while dining in the main restaurant. The art is inspiring, the craft cocktails are pleasing, and I the energy throughout the Battery is rejuvenating. I look forward to my next stay! P.S. Oh yeah,…. And you even get to work out at the Equinox nearby for free as a hotel guest. Very cool!

My husband and I stayed one night for honeymoon- nothing special- questioning how it is considered a luxury hotel. Parking hard to find and not included, nearest one 50$ overnight. Also charged for things not used in mini bar. Dinner was okay, the portions were lacking.

The hotel is very cool. Great ambience and cool vibe. But part of the reason that it is cool is that hotel doubles as a members club which has its own set of rules that apply equally to hotel guests. For example, One such rule is you can’t use your laptop in common areas after 5. So despite being in the heart of the financial district, hotel guess can find themselves without a place to use their laptops (for work or any other reason) outside their rooms. I found kind of shocking for a $1,000 a night hotel and certainly not what I (for one) was expecting when I booked it. But whether is an issue for you all depends on what you are looking for.

So the Battery is a pretty cool place. We enjoyed the pub crawl, playing pool, the drinks and food were great. BUT... The Battery is located right next to a Waymo parking lot (self driving taxi's). These cars start making beeping noises and a really loud horn honking about every 3-5 minutes starting at 4am. This continues until about 8am. The lack of sleep really put a damper on an otherwise great trip. I'm sure we are not the first people to have this experience, since it happed all three nights. There should have been some kind of warning, especially when your spending over $1,000 per night. Disappointed
