The Clift Royal Sonesta Hotel

Had a wonderful stay this past weekend! The front desk was very helpful and was able to accommodate our request of 2 queens! I believe it was Albert who helped us get checked in!

Great hotel if you want to be in the middle of all the action two blocks from Union square. Hotel staff was very nice and accommodating we were celebrating a special event and were upgraded to a better room with a view. Hotel lobby is very clean and lots of sitting area with a bar lounge and Fredrick’s eatery in lobby as well. Room was very clean and bathroom was clean n so to date with all the amenities. We were on the 8th floor with a good view

We checked in for 2 nights after a cruise. Check in was a very pleasant experience. Barb at the front desk was very pleasant and professional to deal with. She made us feel very welcome. In fact all the front desk staff we dealt with over the 2 day stay were very nice and welcoming. The room was exceptional. Very nicely laid out, and very clean. No issues with the room whatsoever. The restaurant for breakfast had very good food and service, albeit a little on the pricey side.

The staff at the facility were great and pleasant to interact with. The food provided at the location was awesome. I did have some problems with the level of soundproofing on the 16th floor. The two doors that interconnect to the nearby rooms blocked very little sound and I could hear conversations and noises meant to be in private in crystal clear clarity.

This is a beautiful hotel—clean, recently renovated, and in a great location near Union Square and theatres. We loved the classic architecture and enjoyed having access to the Art Deco Redwood Room bar in the evenings. The restaurant was excellent for breakfast as well—I tried the Lamb Shakshuka and was blown away. Highly recommend! Thank you for a wonderful stay. We’ll definitely be back for our next weekend trip to SF.
