My wife and I spent 3 lovely nights at the Hotel Drisco. It is a lovely boutique hotel which is exceptionally clean and well-cared for. The staff is very friendly and helpful. There are some perks including a great wine hour ( 2 hours actually) with good wines, and great appetizers which could probably substitute for dinner. The breakfast is really excellent. Egg dishes are made to order and coffee is available this way as well. Our room was not large but beautifully furnished and the bed/bedding was top-notch. The bathroom was plenty roomy and great. The hotel was apparently renovated in 2023. Maid service included turndown at night. It is set amidst the mansions of Pacific Heights. The location is fine in that regard but it is not near a lot of the usual tourist sites. I suspect the hotel sees a lot of repeat customers who want to be in this area. I cannot recommend it highly enough. Everyone seems to go the "extra yard" to help make you stay more enjoyable.

I honestly don’t know how this hotel could be any better. It was one of the best hotel stays I have ever had. Quiet upscale residential neighborhood, fine views, personal attention from staff, comfortable bed and pillows, ample drawers and closet space, ample space in bathroom, in-room Nespresso machine, complimentary bottled water, outstanding breakfast selection. Checked all of our boxes. Will definitely return.

Really enjoyed my stay at Hotel Drisco, it was my second time staying at the hotel. The suite had fabulous views, bed and bedding extremely comfortable and the staff so accommodating. The wine and cheese between 5 and 7 also a lovely touch as is just being around the corner from presido and near to everything else. Will hopefully be back soon.

As a frequent and former guest of the Ritz SFO, the Clift, 4 Seasons, et al … The Drisco was a most pleasant surprise. Our first visit. A true home away from home. Old school in a very good way, superb staff all around, am breakfast buffet is wonderful… soft classical music in the background most appropriate and appropriate. Evening club lounge experience wonderful too, hosted by “Paul” who was both charming, charismatic and very professional too. You also can’t beat the Pacific Heights location. PS: Hard copy newspapers, how very civilized. A dying relic. But I can escape my screen and enjoy this wonderful boutique property too. Bravo! Dean & Kathi Dordevic, Portland Oregon…

Spent 4 nights here as part of a wider Northern California trip and it was undoubtedly the best place we stayed in - arguably one of the best hotels we’ve stayed in anywhere! All the staff we met were both friendly and helpful. The breakfast offering set you up perfectly for the day, being of high quality and varied. The evening wine and canapés service - just great. Loads of little touches throughout, culminating in a surprising check out pack. The Pacific Heights location is convenient, safe and surrounded by interesting and varied architecture.

Not only was the Hotel Drisco luxurious, the service was impeccable, the suite was absolute luxury (we didn't want to leave the room!), the breakfasts were fantastic, and the afternoon wine gatherings were superb. Luxury does not begin to describe the experience. The only drawback is that I now will never want to stay anywhere else in San Francisco.

We recently stayed at the Hotel Drisco and it was one of the most enjoyable stays I've ever had at a hotel. This extremely quaint hotel is located on a beautiful street and the hotel staff was particularly nice. The next time I'm in San Francisco, I'll be staying at the Drisco a hotel that captures the grace and charm of Europe.
