Hotel Drisco

The Hotel Drisco might be one of the nicest, friendliest and favorite hotels I have ever stayed in. It is fairly small, is very quiet, but super luxurious. The rooms are not big,(but quite clean), nor are the bathrooms. However, they make it up in everything else. The location is a neighborhood, and it is quiet and civilized. I felt quite safe there. The breakfast and nightly "spread" of food is unbelievable! There are so many choices for breakfast, it is hard to not overeat. and the nighttime offering of "snacks" is enough food for dinner. Plus an open bar and lovely wine being poured. All are part of the nightly price for the room. The staff was great too. I give it an A+++.

What a great surprise Hotel Drisco was. High up in Pacific Heights near the Lyon Street Steps, it was lovely in every way — our room, the service, hospitality, breakfast, and the attention to detail throughout. The lobby sitting room, with cookies and tea during the day and charcuterie and wine in the late afternoon / evening, was a particularly nice touch. One of my concerns beforehand was that the hotel does not have a garage, and I was a little intimidated by the prospect of parking on the San Francisco hills. It turned out to be no problem at all. The front desk took charge, parked my car on the street right in front of the hotel, and had it available whenever I needed it. For this visit, I was interested in staying in a neighborhood rather than downtown, and Hotel Drisco was exactly what I was looking for — a charming boutique hotel in a beautiful part of the city. A terrific find.

Outstanding experience from start to finish. The rooms were beautifully appointed, and the location in the heart of Pacific Heights is unbeatable. The complimentary breakfast offered a generous selection, and the evening happy hour was exceptional—among the best we've experienced at any hotel. Highly recommended.

This is one of the best hotels I’ve ever had the pleasure to stay. Wonderful service, beautiful and comfortable accommodations and a lovely, quiet neighborhood. The included breakfast and happy hour buffet spreads are incredible. Our family absolutely loved visiting San Francisco and we plan to come back repeatedly. Any future visits will for sure include a stay at Hotel Drisco. Thank you for a wonderful visit!

This was my first time staying at a luxury hotel, and it was truly wonderful. Check in and check out was quick, and every interaction with staff at the hotel was genuine. We stayed Monday-Wednesday, and it was rather quiet at the hotel. The nights were calm, and guests at the hotel were friendly during wine receptions and breakfast. The staff during mealtimes were especially helpful and kind. Their spread for breakfast and wine receptions was spectacular. With local bites, and a wide array of options (their smoothie bar, cocktail cart, and olive oil choices) there was something new to try every day. I am already daydreaming about the breakfast omelet and B. Patisserie granola. The hotel was very clean and the room came with several amenities. We ordered room service which came at no extra cost for delivery, and was available 24 hours! We were able to connect our phone to the TV for streaming shows, which was also very convenient. Their pillow menu offered even more comfort. While parking was a bit difficult, their kind chauffer service offered much help in the morning to travel to the Academy of Sciences. Their sitting room was cozy and peaceful, and allowed for quiet rest while snacking on homemade biscotti and refreshing fruit water. I will definitely stay again if I find myself needing to be in SF/Pacific Heights. Thank you so much to everyone at the Hotel Drisco for making this stay great.
