The clang of cable cars, aroma of bold-flavored espresso, and fog that clings to the Golden Gate Bridge all give a snapshot view of why San Francisco is such a delightful city. Hotel Vitale adds another layer of wonder to the City by the Bay. It envious location is near both the Embarcadero waterfront and the lively Financial District. It is situated directly across from the historic Ferry Building Marketplace, where the city's top chefs go in search of the Bay Area's freshest organic ingredients. The hotel's 200 guest rooms are luxuriously appointed with a design never compromises comfort. Slip between plush bedding, walk across cool limestone bathroom floors, and marvel at the spectacular views framed by large windows.

It was an absolutely wonderful experience! My husband and I did a 30 minute soak before a couples massage, and it was magical and a perfect birthday gift for me. We will be back!

My entire experience at the Bamford spa was incredible. The concierge front desk service was excellent. I enjoyed my tea, chocolate, and complementary mimosa. And Tina was the best part. She gave me an incredible facial and upper body massage and recommended good personal skincare treatments. She was also incredibly sweet and delightful. 10/10 experience. Thank you!!!

Here I am in San Francisco. For the first time since our honeymoon in April, 1976. We flew in from Chicago and spent three wonderful days before leaving for two weeks in Hawaii. On the way from the airport, we drove past old Candlestick Park. We stayed at a hotel on Fisherman's Wharf. We had lunch at Ghirardelli Square and dinner in Chinatown. We attended a NBA playoff game in Oakland. We walked up Nob Hill. We drove down Lombard Street. We drove across the Golden Gate Bridge and had dinner in Marin County. On this trip, I'm staying at the beautifully remodeled and renovated 1 Hotel San Francisco, formerly the Hotel Vitale. Located at 8 Mission Street, on the scenic Embarcadero, across from the Ferry Building, with magnificent views of the waterfront, San Francisco Bay, the Bay Bridge and the city skyline, this five-star property opened in 2022 and is ranked No. 2 among 242 hotels in San Francisco. It features 200 guest rooms, including 14 suites, Terrene restaurant, Bamford Wellness Spa, outdoor rooftop terrace, bar/lounge, 24-hour business center, 24-hour fitness center, valet private parking, 24-hour front desk, free high speed internet and shuttle bus service. I reserved a 366-square-foot Waterfront Room with one king-sized bed, flat screen Led 55 TV, large windows, honor bar, room service, tea/coffee maker, private bath and walk-in shower, free wi-fi, work desk and ergonomic chair.

I enjoyed an amazing, relaxing massage with the lovely Belinda. The facility was spotless, reception was very helpful, and the views add to the experience. I will be back!
