About the Hotel

Hotel Zelos San Francisco (formerly the Hotel Palomar) resides in the historic Pacific Building, which opened in 1907. The Pacific Building was originally built as office space, however, the 5th to 9th floors became the Hotel Palomar in 1999. Due to the original layout, the guestrooms are larger than the average hotel room in San Francisco.

My Hotel Zelos Stay

I had a pretty good experience staying at Hotel Zelos. The food was good and the room was really nice. The front desk attendant, Michael, was amazing. He was very kind and helpful at checking me in. The only issues I had are that the ice and water machine on the 6th floor didn’t work, and the day I checked out the staff wasn’t helping with the luggage I had. They sent someone to help, but he only took two bags and didn’t even help take them to the car. The guy at the front saw that we struggled and didn’t offer to help or do anything. He just told us there wasn’t enough carts, all of them were being used. It seemed to me that they only have like three in total anyway. Overall, I would stay again, but I feel the service could be better.
