About the Hotel
Hotel Zelos San Francisco (formerly the Hotel Palomar) resides in the historic Pacific Building, which opened in 1907. The Pacific Building was originally built as office space, however, the 5th to 9th floors became the Hotel Palomar in 1999. Due to the original layout, the guestrooms are larger than the average hotel room in San Francisco.

Strong Fragrance- otherwise would recommend
Love the location and love the vibe of this boutique hotel. Staff were friendly. Would stay again- except for one thing. Horrible fragrance pumped into hotel, especially lobby but on a lower level in the halls and rooms (at least it carried over in elevators and such). Really strong cologne like smell- not sure why this is needed. It's terrible for the respiratory health of the staff and guests. Also produces headaches/migraines, vomiting, endocrine disruption, and respiratory issues in many. If the fragrance was removed, I would stay here again and recommend hotel.

Great place to stay
My stay here was wonderful. The location is central. The room was large and felt luxurious, and the staff was so friendly- especially Jeff. Highly recommend this place

Great service and location
The room is spacious and very clean. The hotel is in a walkable neighborhood making it easy to get around. They offer a wide range of amenities & Jeff at the front desk was very helpful in getting me checked in and making sure I had everything I needed to enjoy my stay!
