Location, Value and Staff are all excellent!
This hotel was formally the Sir Francis Drake Hotel now known as the remodeled Beacon Grand Hotel. The location, the accommodations, the staff are all excellent. We caught the Big Bus Hop-on-Hop Off bus within a 5 min. walk. High end shopping is within a 5 min walk and there are many restaurants everywhere. We felt very safe staying here. I highly recommend the Beacon Grand Hotel!

Very nice!!! Very welcoming and beautiful spaces!! The staff was able to recognize us the second we checked in. Our room was clean as well!!

Exceptional Stay at the Beacon Grand – Comfort, Location, and Top-Tier Hospitality
The Beacon Grand Hotel in Union Square was a fantastic place to stay during my trip to Salesforce TDX. I was pleasantly surprised by how comfortable the beds were—I slept incredibly well each night. The hospitality and food were top notch, and I highly recommend ordering the Espresso Martini. You also can’t beat the location—it’s just a short walk to the Moscone Center. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting San Francisco.

There are better hotels in the area that are cheaper
The photos of this hotel are just clickbait. The lobby is stunning, but that is about it. The rooms are dilapidated and falling apart. Not worth the price for such a poor quality property. Customer service was terrible.

Wonderful hotel and great location
Location was great, very central. Easy access to many places nearby including the BART. It is a gorgeous hotel. It has also very nice and clean rooms.
