Arrived exhausted from a red-eye flight, Dhali at the front desk made sure I got an early check in to go straight to bed. Thanks Dhali!

We had a wonderful experience at this beautiful hotel. Dhali and Rhidi were unbelievably kind to us during our stay. I highly recommend this place and would definitely come back here!

The hotel is close to a number of tourist attractions but that also means that it attracts all the usual city features, like a high number of homeless people around. The general feel of the hotel is that it needs significant renovation. Our first room on the 7th floor was a bit dark with large blade blinds and felt a bit like being in prison. It was also an interconnecting room and we did not feel comfortable at all. So we asked for a room change and the gentleman at reception was very helpful. Despite the manager saying to the gentleman that it was a full house ( I suppose implying that our room should not be changed), the gentleman kindly managed to move us to the 6th floor. Even here, the carpet felt dusty and the furniture including doors etc. were all outdated. The bathroom has a half height bath with a shower and shower curtain. The workmanship in the bath felt shoddy. However, we did get a free 500ml bottle of water which was promoted as refillable. There were no cups, plates, cutlery or tea/coffee making facilities in the room but the hotel does offer free tea/coffee in the hotel restaurant on the ground floor from 7am to 10am. There were two drinking glasses in the room but only one bottle of water for the two of us. So rather than ask the hotel for more, we just went out and purchased our own bottles of water. We did get a kettle for our room upon request, again from the kind gentleman as above. The hotel also gave us paper cups, paper plates and plastic cutlery upon request. Overall, for a 4* hotel, the hotel is begging for serious renovation. We checked out a day earlier than planned and stayed with relatives about two hours drive from the hotel. A definite No No

At check-in, the overly friendly staff was pushing alcohol on the non-alcoholic drinking members of our family. A polite no thank you was not received well by the staff.
