The Marker San Francisco

We had a great stay at The Marker, Blanca at the front desk was so helpful from check in to check out, she made everything so easy and made sure to accommodate everything we needed!

The hotel is well kept with two historic fireplaces (1910?). Adorable, comfortable, modern, sleeping rooms. I highly recommend for an event, the food was delicious and the staff were amazing.

Very elegant, thoughtfully designed hotel in a funky area of town. Was here for a conference and found the location to be perfect. Room was small but cozy. Bed was super comfy and staff were lovely.

We stayed at The Marker on a friends trip. The hotel was lovely, it has beautiful lobby area and our room was very clean, quiet and comfortable. The location was great for us, just a short walk to Union Square and the tram stop. There were also plenty of local coffee shops close by which we were thankful for when jet lag saw us up at 7am in the mornings! When we checked in we were given a map and shown which areas are good to visit and what to see there which was much appreciated seeing as it was our first time visiting the city. The staff were very friendly, and gave us vouchers for a free drink at the adjoining bar / restaurant. We had some drinks and although we didn’t eat there, it all looked very nice. We were also given a free water bottle which came in very handy, and there are water refill stations all around the city so it saved us buying bottles of water everywhere we went.

We had an awesome stay in The Marker. We ended our honeymoon here and when we mentioned it they gave us champagne and local San Francisco popcorn with chocolate and sea salt. Tratto, the Italian restaurant inside the hotel was so delicious. Melinda was the perfect host to check us in and all the staff was super friendly!
