Parc 55 San Francisco – A Hilton Hotel is located in the heart of San Francisco, close to the Financial District and on the cusp of SOMA (South of Market). It is the perfect setting for a stay in the City by the Bay. Our hotel is also well connected to the city’s colorful neighborhoods so you can enjoy dining, cultural attractions and the local coffee shops. We are also just a short walk away from the Moscone Center and Union Square.

Both Sarah and Max is looked after us at check-in whilst we stayed at this hotel. Lovely room with stunning views. We decided to eat in the hotel restaurant rather than venture out after dark. The champagne vending machine was fun. Salmon well cooked with crispy skin. Hotel is close to the cable car turn around, union square, Macy's and other shops. Lol for the main entrance by the parking slope rather than the back entrance to avoid the homeless.

Stayed here due to the Workday Rising 2025 conference. My score is averaged based on the excellence of the staff (Sarah at Registration!) and the room itself (three bay windows!) compared to the questionable location next to the urine soaked streets immediately adjacent to what otherwise is a beautiful hotel. Restaurant is horribly expensive for so-so food. Go outside and go west on Eddy Street and you're in a sketchy area big time. Even east a block is not so good. For my conference at the Moscone Center, I opted for Uber. Hair dryer set off alarm as we were preparing to leave at 4 am. Security came pounding on the door. Nearly had a heart attack. BUT... Wonderful staff! Accommodating, friendly, and once again, have to give a special shout out to Sarah for her over-the-top assistance at check-in! The hotel is very clean, the room was bright and spacious, the views were beautiful, and I am pleased we stayed here. (Must say if it hadn't been for Sarah, though. I might have dropped this to a 3 based on location alone.)

PROS: 1. Very centrally located. Union Square at 5' walking distance, Powell Str. at 3', Yerba Gardens at 7'. The metro station is at Powell Str. and the Bart from/to the airport takes 25' (in case you don't want to spend money on a taxi). 2. Rooms are spacious. Nice matresses. 3. Staff is seemingly kind. CONS: 1. Location close to TL (Tenderloin) area. Lots of homeless people and drug addicts everywhere in the center. Have not felt threatened in any way but, good to know in case you can't handle it. 2. Breakfast costs USD 40,00 per person (including taxes) and if you add a tip, goes up to USD 50,00 per person. Is it worth it? No, definitely not. Tried eggs, potatoes, cake.. all far from being good. Would be medium even for a 3* hotel - but would not be so expensive! For this price, try a diner, there are three good ones around the hotel. 3. Staff is not essentially helpful. Asked reception not to charge my personal credit card (which I provided only for the security deposit) but the company's card we have already paid the deposit with. Did they cross check both card numbers? They did. Did we confirm it again on departure date? We did. Guess in which card the charge was finally done.. yes, my card! Send mails to correct the error, not a single reply. I mean, this is purely a luck of effort.

We had a great stay at Parc 55 Hilton. The hotel was comfortable and well located, but what truly made the experience special was the front desk manager, Mavis. She was wonderful, attentive, and extremely helpful throughout our stay. Her warm and professional approach made us feel very welcome. Thank you, Mavis, for making our visit even better!

Parc 55 is a nice hotel, very dated but has some charm. Housekeeping were good and we came back to a clean room most days, remember to buy water they don't always replace it. Very loud at night, sirens, music and screams can be heard even on the 17th floor. Please do not book this hotel with children. The area right beside the hotel is very dangerous, drug use is visible, homeless everywhere, poop and needles on the pavements, the Tenderloin area is minutes away, do some research, please. The hotel will not alert you of this. We also witnessed very explicit sexual activity near the main door entrance of the hotel. Again do not book with children, they do not need to see this. I do not recommend this area, or either of the Hilton hotels located here.
