Exceptional Staff and a Romantic Getaway
My husband and I were on a short getaway, and stayed at The White Swan Inn, on the recommendation of someone we trust. It was a truly delightful experience, and we will be back. The staff is exceptional, the room was quiet and very comfortable, and we loved the gas fireplace. It was easy to get wherever we wanted to go.

Charming hotel with great location
Lovely vintage hotel near Main Bus lines and lots of eateries. Walking distance to Chinatown. Hotel was charming but don’t forget the building is over 100 years old- don’t come here if you expect renovated rooms and sleek surfaces. The rooms are spacious- we booked a king fireplace and loved it. The staff are amazing.

Well kept boutique hotel in busy part above Union Square
The initial check in person was very friendly. The check out person was rather grumpy and unfriendly. The hotel was very clean for what it is. Our room was very warm and luckily we had a window that we could open. There is no AC. We were in #57 Suite. Fireplace was nice. Small bathroom. No view, but quiet in the back of the building. It is located on a hill so be aware. The old elevator was charming and the breakfast was good.

Great Experience at the White Swan Inn
My stay at the White Swan Inn was an absolute delight – the perfect romantic getaway! This quaint boutique hotel exudes old-world charm with its welcoming atmosphere, friendly staff, and beautifully decorated areas. . The highlight was undoubtedly the in-room fireplace. After a day exploring the city, coming back to turn on the fire (it was a convenient gas one with a simple switch) created the most relaxing ambiance. Curling up with a book or a glass of wine in front of the crackling flames made evenings feel magical. The room itself was spacious, spotlessly clean, with plush bedding and thoughtful touches like soft lighting and comfortable seating right by the fire. We would definitely stay here again.

We loved our stay at the White Swan Inn! Truly the most comfortable bed I've ever stayed in. Room was spacious (could use a bit more light). Staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast and happy hour were a great bonus. Great location. Highly recommend a stay here and can't wait to come back
