Reviews for Ka'ana Resort

Great!

Ka’Ana resort was exactly what it means Heavenly place! We loved the atmosphere, the staff, and cleanliness. The front desk staff did a great job! They were so great to work with before we arrived, too. We utilized the airport pickup and drop off and they offered us water and soda for the ride. We booked the horseback ride to Xunantunich through Ka’Ana and Eddy was great guide! We also booked the Mayan cooking class and a mixology class with Ka’Ana. Both classes were hands on and fun! We learned about the food and drinks while we were preparing the food and drinks. We had the best time! The cooking ladies were hilarious and joked around with us which added to the fun. Victor was our bartender/instructor, he was patient and taught us a lot about the drinks. I don’t drink alcohol and he taught me how to make virgin Bloody Mary, virgin Blueberry mojito, and virgin “tequila” sunrise. My husband was able to choose his three alcoholic drinks and he picked Coconut mojito, Mango habanero margarita, and Moscow mule. We also booked a couples massage. I got the Mayan abdominal massage and my husband got a deep tissue massage. They did a great job! The food and drinks, at the restaurant, were delicious and the servers were great! While we had continental breakfast, I recommend trying items off the continental breakfast. We loved the fry jacks and other items, but I can’t remember how to spell them. Everything was delicious and straight from their garden! We visited the garden and were shown around by the staff. Miguel does a great job keeping the garden in top shape! The housekeepers come twice a day and they were great at keeping the room looking nice. We had the master casita, the plunge pool was great after a long day of adventures. The jets were a great massage for feet and legs. Every staff member greeted us with a smile no matter how busy they were they were always asking if we needed anything. They were very attentive. I was nervous about going during September, but while it did rain during our visit it didn’t rain all day. Even if it does Ka’Ana has a selection of umbrellas all over the resort and umbrella holders at your room door.

Luxurious adventure

Kaana is a perfect launching point for adventures in western Belize. Located close to many Mayan ruins and adventure experiences. They provided luxury in the jungle. Our stay was amazing. Staff all five stars, food on sight was great and room exceeded my expectations. Perfect size, clean, and ours had an amazing view of pool and large porch with hammock and table for the amazing breakfast we had each day. Walk the property, enjoy happy hour, talk to the friendly staff.

Stay in the jungle to remember!

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 month ago

Pictures and website does not do justice for this hotel. Amazing luxury hotel from beginning to end. The staff was absolutely fantastic, friendly, warm and attentive. The landscaping was immaculate. We enjoyed our private outdoor bath. The chef and food was absolutely amazing. Better than most 5 star restaurants I have been to. Our favorite staff member was Freddy that went out of his way to make sure all of our wants and needs were taken care of. We were traveling with a three year old and they were all warm and friendly with him. They also booked us on pontoon tour into the jungle to see the waterfalls. There is no way you could go wrong booking a stay at this hotel.

Wonderful Stay at Ka'ana

Our stay at Ka'ana was fantastic. The staff made us feel welcome from the start and consistently went out of their way to make the experience special. They were especially great with our kids — from touring the garden and picking fresh mangoes from a tree to setting up a fire for s’mores in the evening, they made the experience fun and memorable for the whole family. The food at the restaurant was excellent — fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. Every meal was a highlight. Ka'ana exceeded our expectations in every way. We wouldn’t hesitate to return or recommend it to others.

Wonderful staff and beautiful grounds

Lovely intimate resort. Quite shady pool and spacious room. This would've been a a great romantic couples trip before kids but the staff all made our toddler feel welcome and our stay much less stressful. We enjoyed the daily breakfast and would've been happy to eat at the restaurant ever night. 5 minutes to town and the ferry but super quiet at night.
