The Westin Lima Hotel & Convention Center

I always try to stay at this hotel when in Lima. The location is excellent, the rooms are spacious, and the service is first class. Great recognition to titanium elite members including complementary breakfast buffet, club lounge which includes great food and beverages throughout the day, great indoor swimming pool and spa. I will keep coming back!

While on vacation, my friend and I decided to grab a drink at the bar for a bit. It turned out to be one of the best nights of our vacation. Ademar, our bartender, was one of the kindest and most knowledgeable servers I’ve ever had. He had the best drink suggestions and most wonderful conversations. If you need a drink and a warm place and nice energy, grab a drink here!

We spent four nights at the Westin Lima Hotel following a 7-night Amazon cruise and found it very satisfactory. We had a comfortable room on a high floor, which afforded an impressive (if not especially scenic) view of the city. Our reservation included access to the hotel's Club Level, whose privileges included a decent breakfast buffet and evening snacks and drinks. The indoor pool had good operating hours and a lap lane. We ate one dinner at the hotel's Maras Restaurant and considered it the best meal we had in Lima. Guests should not miss the small but delightful gift shop located on the lobby floor near the elevators. The very helpful saleslady (named Cara, I think) helped us select a snazzy alpaca sweater for me and exquisite earrings for my wife's sister. The neighborhood is safe and walkable, with a fair number of restaurants nearby, but the hotel is not near any of the major sights. We used Uber for several excursions and wisely booked a city tour for our first day in Lima that included pickup and drop-off at the hotel. The concierge arranged a limo transfer to the airport for our flight home, for which a reasonable flat fee was charged.
