Our experience at Hotel Valencia began with the Valet. He was very kind and accommodating. We arrived early but it was not problem to take the car and manage our luggage. The room was fresh and comfortable. We thoroughly enjoyed the room and the restaurant. Also, the front desk was able to accommodate my sister who forgot her phone charger. The young lady found an adapter and a cord for her older iPhone! This was exceptional service.

Good hotel. The hotelroom was nice and clean. The hotel is centrally located with many restaurants to eat nearby. However, it would be preferable if there'd be curtains instead of blinds and if the shower/bath wasn't combined.

The Valencia is a beautiful hotel, located in prime area of Santana Row. My room was perfect. Very comfortable bed. The one thing that stands out the most is the hotel staff! Friendly, attention to detail and went beyond their job description. I will return to the Valencia.

First time dad, first weekend trip, and from the valet to the interior staff, from the big stuff to the minutiae, a special nod to our liaison RJ, and to the views from the room. Perfect.

Hotel Valencia Positives: The hotel is located on posh Santana Row which is fantastic for restaurants, shops, and other amenities like car dealerships, hair/nail salons and 3 walking minutes from the Westfield shopping center with a Cheesecake Factory, Apple Store and lots of other great things in life. - [ ] Negatives: The hotel is dated (old impractical shower heads only meant for someone who immediately needs a shampoo, leaking faucets, noisy air con machinery: therefore I judged the room price disappointingly expensive for what we got. We were also disappointed to find out although we specifically booked 2 double beds (for 3 people staying in the room) we were given one king size bed… upon seeing the room after checkin, after a 24 hour international flight I had to return to the reception to enquire about the two double beds specifically confirmed by the hotel on my booking . The manager informed us the hotel was fully booked and the only other room available was a full bed for our 6 feet tall teenager and husband… we were “offered” the option to be downgraded to a lesser room at a lesser cost. Okay, we were only staying one night. The next day we were charged the full rate of a double room we never received…not sure whether the location is worth this given that you are paying high premium for a hotel that is not high premium and apparently does not offer queen size beds.
