Solaris lighthouse San Jose Cabos
The buffet at the resort was small. The food that was there though was good quality. Breakfast omelette and crepes were really good. Choice of bacon or sausage only each day. Soft ice cream machine was clutch at the buffet. The snack bar was great each day. This is a smaller resort, the pools are warm and unfortunately lots was closed for renos. This resort would benefit from about 3 more a la cartes. The rooms were modern and really nice with comfortable beds. The bar had a bit of a wait as it only had one bar tender behind the bar who was doing his best but was well over worked. However… Two staff made our trip awesome. Zarel Perez who walked around the pool serving drinks was amazing always had a smile on his face and eager to help out. He appreciated tips which we obviously gave but would have done the work with a smile on his face without them. Marco was the other one. He worked the supper buffet and served us on our karaoke night. He always had a smile on his face eager to help out with a fist bump each time. Both these gentlemen made the trip incredibly better.

staff was amazing, facilities were great! definetely on the smaller end and the crowd seems a little older. however food and drinks were amazing and super fun and relaxing! definitely recommend! shoutout ary the activities coordinator- he made sure to connect with everyone and definitely elevated our stay.

The resort is beachside. The staff are so attentive. Rooms are clean. Food is lovely abs fresh and the restaurants are quaint and romantic. Randall (the only Mexican named Randall) our poolside waiter was friendly, funny and very attentive. Thank Randall.

Zarel pool service was beyond excellent, fast and friendly with some very interesting recommendations. He’s new to Solaris, we have been coming to Barcelos for about five years, this our first trip to the new incarnation. A very enjoyable trip, good service all around

Zarel was very friendly and attentive to our wants and needs. He made several trips around the pool in the times we were there, and always had time to chat and tell us details about the facility. He is a tremendous asset to your facility. Thank you, Zarel!!
