Great value for money: Nice little hotel with super friendly staff

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 2 days ago

It is evident that the property is old, yet, it is very well taken care of! The staff is incredibly friendly and attentive, I have no complaints at all! The food was quite good and varied, although don't expect any over-the-top-gourmet-luxurious experience. It was a bargain, GREAT price-value relationship. I was quite pampered too! Got an upgrade for being a Booking Genius user and was also tempted to a full bottle of champagne directly in my room 15 minutes after I arrived. By the next day, I was greeted with a plate of cute desserts directly in my room! Beds are comfy (although the pillows did smell a bit of humidity) there are lots of pools, swim-up bar had amazing and friendly service! The humidity was a b***ch but that's beyond the hotel's control of course, and the temperature in my room was amazing! September is super low season and the property was almost empty so I would 100% suggest ANYONE to visit by then. The hotel went above and beyond to make me feel welcome and to woo me into coming back, and they SUCCEEDED. Can't wait to return, this time for pure pleasure

Fabiola, Fatima, Jhoana, and Fernando were all phenomenal! Great hospitality and interactive with the group! Wonderful atmosphere and the landscape was refreshing. Enjoyed my time in the pool and bartenders made exquisite drinks. Until next time!

The fun never ends!

Fatima is the best! She made pool volleyball fun and exciting. Later she taught me to salsa in the lobby bar! All of the staff were super friendly and accommodating. The drinks were delicious and Johnathon in the Mexican restaurant on the property had the best recommendations. This has been the best hotel experience I’ve ever had!

The good, bad, ugly

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 2 weeks ago

Pros- the hotel is nice and clean. The staff were good. Especially Zarel who provided good service at the pool bar. Lauro who makes great drinks at the pool bar. Alfredo does a good job at entertaining and getting people to join the activities. Fabiola, although she literally just started she had great energy and positive attitude. Best of all was Fatima. Had an amazing time dancing with her. Her energy, spirit is so genuine and easy to talk to. Cons- food is nasty. Need a better variety. The activities during the day repeats. There need to be more and different activities. The music is too old school. The nightly entertainment too far apart so you have to figure out how to entertain yourself. And although it's mexico stop playing all the Spanish music and speaking in Spanish. You have English speaking tourist.
