Nestled into the sand dunes along Mexico’s dramatic San José del Cabo coastline, a place of mystery and magic unfolds. One where fire is the catalyst for bold flavors; heat and sound are healers; the sea is a place of adventure and discovery; whims are anticipated and fulfilled; and your place of rest is a gallery of Mexican artistry. Along gently sloping dunes overlooking the Sea of Cortés in San José del Cabo, luxury suites and villas reflect the land and those who sprung from it. Here, nature is invited within and resort guests encouraged to venture out: sliding glass doors replace traditional walls, terraces are an extension of home, with private plunge pools providing tranquility and the opportunity to take in fresh air. Throughout, luxury villas, art, textiles and decorative objects from Mexican artists showcase the tradition and talent found in Cabo and beyond.

Five stars from start to finish. The service, the food, the view, and the vibe. A truly beautiful resort with an excellent staff that make you constantly feel welcome and taken care of. We can’t say enough positive things about our experience at Zadún and would struggle to return to Cabo and stay anywhere else. We only stayed 2 nights as we wanted to try out a few resorts during our trip but it was by far our favorite and most memorable. Highly recommend breakfast at Barrio and the Australian steak at Argentinian night. The rooms at the resort are spread out so everyone gets around in golf carts and we had a blast getting driven up the mountain side after dinner. We really felt a sense of privacy with our room which is exactly what we were looking for. This is a resort you go for peace and relaxation.

Basics: 7 nights in an Ocean View, Upper floor with plunge pool; couple in our upper ages; physically fit and well-traveled. Bottom-line: You expect the very best from a property like Zadun and pay for it. Very rarely do any deliver 100%. Generally, I’m satisfied at 95% and that’s what I’d score Zadun. The property is physically beautiful. The suite we stayed in was excellent. The rooftop terrace with plunge pool was the star of the show. Service: Top-notch. The staff was competent and friendly. Restaurants: Unfortunately, the top restaurant, Humo, was under renovation during our stay. The hotel did a good job with a temporary substitute, Argentinian Grill. While the other restaurants were all very good, we were a bit disappointed with the menu selections. There is a lack of diversity in terms of cuisine. The service was routinely excellent, and the quality of the food was A+. Pricing was high, but not unexpectantly so. Bars/Cocktails/Wine: Excellent service, creative cocktails, good selections. Excellent staff. Wines are outrageously marked up (in some cases 4x or 5x and never less than 3x). Fitness Center: About what you’d expect. Resort Pools: Never used them as we had our own, but they looked nice. Spa: We took a pass as the pricing was twice what we have experienced at other Ritz-Carlton level resorts. Beach: Eh. Not much of it and not very walkable. Don't come for the beach. Other: Very hilly. We love to walk and are fit for our age, but we often had to resort to taking one of the golf cart rides. And if you like to walk, you are constantly having to deal with the numerous carts that are moving around the property all the time, ferrying guests, maintenance staff, in-room dining carts, etc. It’s somewhat annoying but unavoidable. Judgment: Beautiful, great staff. Go if you love the one you're with and just want to hang out.

My wife and I were looking for a special place to celebrate our 40th anniversary and we found it at the Zadun Ritz Reserve in Cabo. I have been fortunate to travel to many of the best hotels and resorts in North American, Europe and Japan but the Ritz Reserve in Cabo was the best! It started and ended with the absolutely amazing staff. The venue was fantastic and the food was great. This visit made for an unbelievable experience for us.

Anniversary trip. The dedicated concierge service was outstanding. Needs were anticipated and there were incredible touches that weren’t requested. Rose petals and champagne with turndown service. Plunge pool pre-heated. Our room was wonderful. Incredible view, very comfortable, thoughtful indoor/outdoor design. Property design was great. Common areas, restaurants, pools, fitness center were all top notch. At the end of our stay, our concierge worked with a local pharmacy to get some respiratory therapies delivered. Above and beyond level of service. Lifetime Titanium Bonvoy member - best Marriott stay we have ever experienced!

A true quiet luxury spot where experiences go beyond expectations. I cannot describe what you will truly experience in the resort but you will nevere want to leave. We came from Paris it was a long trip but was totally worth it. once you arrive the view are breathetaking. The different amenities of the hotel make your trip complete and the staff is the most exceptional part of the experience. every single smile, attention, gift is priceless. The full time dedicated buttler is the cherry on the cake. Do not miss the bar with its incredible architecture. Every room is crafted in raw and beautiful materials. Absolutely stunning!!
