Tierra Atacama Hotel and Spa

Cannot imagine a better resort to experience the amazing wonders of Atacama. The resort is beautiful and they offer a multitude of excursions. Dinners are delicious and the lodge works to provide a variety of dining experience during your stay. But most of all the staff. From competence and grace of Carol at guest relations, to the energy of Carmen at excursions, to the friendly and hardworking of Sebastian at bar and then the wonderful service and people of the dining room like Violeta, Gonzalo, Kevin, Ignacio, Caterina, Oscar and so many more. Just exceptional experience and fun.

Wow — Tierra Atacama is absolutely incredible! Every single detail is so thoughtfully curated, from the gorgeous rooms and amazing excursions to the fantastic food. Our guides were not only incredibly knowledgeable but genuinely fun to explore with. The staff went above and beyond, always warm, attentive, and ready to help. And the Atacama region itself? Truly breathtaking — an unforgettable experience from start to finish!

This hotel was beyond exceptional. The layout, the food sevice, the staff!, the excurions. This is an above and beyond hotel. You owe it to yourself to ecperience it and see what the Robb Report is talking about!. This is luxury and more!

Our guide was great, very helpful and knowledgeable. Built a daily itinerary that allowed us to see what interested us, and was within our exercise level. As for food could be great and other meals were mediocre. We had a waitress 3 times who was awful, very disorganized would forget us and our order.

We stayed 6 days 5 nights at the newly-renovated Tierra Atacama. From the moment we were picked up at the airport, we felt so welcomed. The property is beautiful, with amazing views of the volcano during the day and beautiful starry skies at night. The rooms are downright lavish (mini-bar, Nespresso machine, kettle, outdoor shower). We ate (and drank!) very well and every dish came out looking like a piece of art. Excursions were well-planned and every guide we had was top notch. The spa was an oasis within an oasis and services were very reasonably priced. The staff was always so kind and attentive, we always felt like part of the family. Tierra Atacama thought of every tiny detail (ex: humidifier in the rooms, trail mix bar (!), boxed lunch for return trip to airport, THREE types of spa water every day) so that we didn't have to.
