a fantastic hotel great location great staff the rooms are very spacious and well equipped hotel is spotlessly clear the breakfast was delicious on the slight down side we were in room 1 which was directly underneath the kitchen and the kitchen staff start work at 4 am in the morning to prepare for breakfast but I’m afraid to say that the walking two and from you can hear in your bedroom so just be careful of room one apart from that though this hotel is stunning

All the superlatives are right on the spot, this is an amazing place. As you walk in the ambience grabs you, one of calmness and sophistication. We were told it had no restaurant but did bar snacks. This was misleading as they have a small menu restaurant which after a day in the town is quite sufficient and quality of food as everything was very high. I only wish every hotel was like this one. Yes a little way into town but it’s more than worth it, go and stay!

My husband and I recently spent four lovely days in San Sebastián, a beautiful, clean and safe city. We stayed at this beautiful hotel. The building is very impressive as is the stunning entrance lobby and staircase. The public rooms are very comfortable and aesthetically pleasing. The staff were all very friendly. On check in, we were allocated room 21, a deluxe room. The room appeared to have been freshly decorated and it was perfectly clean. The bed was top quality and super comfy. The bathroom was large and bright and had everything one would need. The towels were in abundance and were white and fluffy. The Dyptique toiletries were a lovely touch. However there a few comments which I would like to make, which will hopefully be helpful for potential guests and the hotel itself. Room 21 was quite small and a bit cramped. There is a long very narrow window, which made it impossible to fully draw the curtains back hence the lighting in the room was compromised. The small table and chair took up the only available space and were in the way of the fitted wardrobe. They appear to be completely unnecessary. There was a lack of power points. There could be a few more coat hangers provided. Only coffee provided in the bedrooms, although they kindly supplied us with a kettle and a few tea bags. The USB sockets at the bedside did not work ( we did mention this to a member of staff at the front desk.) A wonderful shower, however there was no bath. The wastepaper bin in the bathroom was far too small. I would suggest room 21 should be re-classified as standard room and not a Deluxe room. The hotel, as we were aware, was a twenty minute walk from the old town. The direct route into town is along a busy highway, although there is a much more pleasant, although slightly longer route, which takes you along the beach front. The hotel is definitely better suited to people who are 'touring' with their own transport rather than couples who want to visit San Sebastián for a few days.

Absolutely fantastic top to bottom. Phenomenal room, great staff, great hotel restaurant. Would absolutely recommend to anyone traveling to the area without hesitation. Maybe the greatest shower in any hotel room ever.

The hotel is very beautiful and elegant, and the staff are very attentive, friendly, and efficient. They gave us wonderful tips on places to eat, visit, and shop. A special thanks to Jon at the front desk.”
