Baglioni Resort Sardinia

You are better off staying near Porto Cervo. This place is a scam. Do not trust any of their social media content. Their beach looks nothing like this and it's not Private. It's in the middle of a very crowded public beach. This should be a three Resort. The video and photos on their websites and social media is definitely edited and is not an accurate representation. The outdoor restaurant has wasps everywhere and there is no indoor air conditioned area to eat. Room had mold in the shower and all over the air vents.

The GOOD - well run beach area and the deep clean pool and sun beds, the staff, the housekeeping, the breakfast (esp the pastries), the short walk to the beach (now fixed), provision of water everywhere, the Acqua Di Parma toiletries 😊 The BAD -price of taxi’s (€130) for a 30 min ride from airport, the astronomical price of lunchtime/evening food/drinks at the hotel (based on the isolation of hotel, lack of other restaurants/shops around) ☹️ The UGLY - offer of a ‘private’ transfer for €180 one way to the airport, the countless aggressive wasps at every meal (with no indoor seating to get away from them) . I’d definitely recommend booking somewhere less isolated and less inclined to outrightly overcharge tourists. Everyone I spoke to felt the same - and will not be returning to Sardinia. I myself live in a very touristy place and we’d never treat people like this. What a shame 👎

We had an excellent stay at the Baglioni. The hotel fully met our expectations and did a great job accommodating our dietary restrictions. The concierge team also did a fantastic job, always available, helpful, and efficient. Ok. This place. Amazing. Start with the basics. It's a mere 40 minutes (or so) from Olbia. The greeting is friendly and welcoming. The rooms (we had two) are great. Plenty of room, spacious bathroom, amazing aircon (you will be grateful!) and a nice range of tea/coffee/nibbles. Slept like a baby. The property is well spaced, thoughtfully arranged. Its like a fancy campus. The accommodation is all one direction and the restaurant, bar, pool and spa (& reception) are all in another space. Pool. Amazing. Big. Cool. Classy. Ok. The bar. Excellent space and awesome service. Ask Eleonora for a YugoSpritz (think thats what its called!) , it won't disappoint. Breakfast & dinner are at Mirta. My family loved the breakfast. The choice. The quality. The service. Dinner. Well also delicious but dare I say it, and it seems odd to say it, expensive. The Sardinian menu is delicious but it seems pricey vs eatinf away from the resort. But. You won't be disappointed. Ok. For me. Star of the show. The beach. Its a dusty path down to the beach. There are hotel chairs and umbrellas and this great guy Paolo and his team hand out towels, allocate beds and have a supply of water (you'll want some!). The beach and ocean are amazing. So clean. You will have people around you but its a good vibe. There is a little cafe / snack bar on the beach which has a good range in food and drinks (not part of the hotel). This place, location, vibe, service, little details - just makes it a great place to stay. Couples, families , would work for anyone. Love this place.

We had a wonderful stay at Baglioni Resort Sardinia and the experience exceeded our expectations. The resort is beautiful, elegant and surrounded by nature, with a peaceful atmosphere that makes it perfect for a relaxing holiday. The location near Lu Impostu is exceptional and the beach is absolutely stunning, with crystal-clear water, comfortable sunbeds and attentive beach service. What really made the difference, however, was the staff. Everyone we met was professional, friendly and genuinely attentive. From Reception and Concierge to Housekeeping, the restaurant and beach teams, the service was warm and personal throughout our stay and truly reflected a 5-star luxury hotel experience. Our room was very comfortable, beautifully maintained and spotlessly clean. We also particularly enjoyed the breakfast: an excellent selection, fresh products and beautiful homemade pastries every morning. The quality of the food throughout the resort was also very high, and our dinner at Gusto by Sadler was one of the highlights of the stay. The entire property is very well maintained, with beautiful gardens, a lovely pool and plenty of space, so even during the summer it feels peaceful and private. A special place for anyone looking for luxury, relaxation, excellent food, a spectacular Sardinian beach and genuine Italian hospitality. We left with wonderful memories and would definitely return.
