Cambridge Beaches, established in 1923, is Bermuda's original cottage-style retreat, beautifully positioned on a private peninsula. This 23-acre sanctuary showcases the island's natural beauty with its pristine white sands, invigorating salt air, and iconic sunsets, complemented by architecture dating back to 1663.
The resort features eighty-five luxurious accommodations, each offering private outdoor areas and breathtaking views of the water. Guests are invited to discover the serenity of four private beaches and two coves or take in the scenic vistas from the infinity-edge pool facing Mangrove Bay.
Cambridge Beaches is a haven for relaxation and adventure, providing a full-service spa, scooter and two-seat vehicle rentals, and water sports. The culinary experience is equally impressive, with three waterfront restaurants serving fresh, local dishes in an idyllic setting.
A testament to its enduring appeal, the resort has welcomed generations of guests back time and again, each visit adding to its rich tapestry of hospitality and cherished vacation traditions.

We really enjoyed our stay at Cambridge Beaches Resort, but I wanted to share some advice about transportation that may help future visitors. If you’re planning to travel from the resort toward Horseshoe Bay Beach or Hamilton using the public bus, don’t rely on it as your only transportation. During busy times, the buses are often already full by the time they reach the resort, due to cruise ships and they may pass by without stopping because they have no room for additional passengers. This happened to us more than once. If you plan to explore the island frequently, you may want to consider renting a scooter or another form of transportation. If you choose a scooter, be extra cautious. Bermuda’s roads are narrow, winding, and can be challenging, especially for riders who are not experienced. Also, always be prepared for changing weather. Bermuda’s weather can change very quickly, with brief rain showers appearing and disappearing within minutes. Carrying a light rain jacket or small umbrella is a good idea, even if the day starts out sunny. Hopefully this helps future visitors plan ahead and enjoy everything Bermuda has to offer.

The views from their restaurant are absolutely breathtaking. The ocean seems to merge seamlessly with the sky, creating the illusion that they are one endless horizon. We enjoyed dinner there on a beautiful evening, and while the food was good, it wasn’t particularly memorable. The staff was pleasant and attentive, and the atmosphere was peaceful and romantic. It’s an excellent spot for a quiet dinner with someone special. Although it’s on the pricey side, the stunning view alone makes it worth the visit

I've always wanted to go to Bermuda, a work colleague suggested Cambridge Beaches Resort. It is very different to most resort type hotels. All accommodation is in individual bungalows. The rooms were large and very private. Being out of season it was very quiet. The food was by a renowned chef; but, rather challenging. Transport in Bermuda requires you to remember that the island is sort of banana shape, roads are narrow, so use of the ferry is the best way to get around.

Our room with a private pool was perfect. Tastefully decorated with an incredible AC system. The room and pool were cleaned daily and everything was replenished. We ate at all the restaurants except for one day when we ventured out. It was pricey but to be expected and decent. We found the staff to be outstanding especially Monique and Jun. I learned a lot of local history just from chatting with Monique. The grounds were lovely as always but was sad to see that Turtle Grove beach has no sand currently due to erosion from winter storms. Hopefully Mother Nature will give it back soon. If I could offer a few criticisms for the goal of improving the experience: The “do not disturb sign” needs to be respected. We were enjoying our pool one day at around 1:30pm when a group of landscapers showed up on our cottage grounds with mowers, blowers and weed whackers. It was incredibly loud and long and disturbed our relaxation. We called the front desk and they went away eventually. We did appreciate that. Secondly, we had stayed in the past and found the tea service greatly diminished in its offerings. It used to be much more generous and we found it kind of skimpy. Finally, I wish they would cordon off the swim area at Long Bay Beach. People on boats pull up right next to you as you are swimming to go eat at Breezes and it seems like a safety hazard. Most of the boaters seemed respectful but there were a few that had very loud Cancun party vibes and that kind of was a bummer and clashed with the past refinement of the resort.
