The overall property is beautiful and tranquil with great views, the quality of the room was exceptional and the staff were extremely pleasant and attentive. Really enjoyed drinking wine at the fire pit while taking in the views. Overall we loved our stay.

We loved our 3 days stay for a wedding reception at El Encanto. Staff were excellent and the resort is so pleasant with a warm (85 degrees) swimming pool not to miss. Also enjoyed the loaned electric bikes for a visit to downtown Santa Barbara and the marinas. EV was definitely needed on the way back and up the hills to the hotel.

Rooms were very well done, and the amenities are all great. And everyone that worked there was incredibly nice and extremely helpful. It was a really good stay and we would definitely go back. I also love that they have free loaner e-bikes so you can take them into town rather than driving (or go wherever you want with them) - it's a great option. We didn't like that any time we wanted ice we had to call the front desk for it to be brought to us, and we didn't like that there aren't any water stations. We also thought the food service was a little off - at dinner they brough my appetizer and 15 minutes later realized they hadn't brought my wife's - that just an example but it seemed to happen repeatedly and at every meal. That said, their breakfast was fantastic - the huevos rancheros (sp?) were amazing!
