Strongly recommended. Beautiful nature, awesome team and hotel infrastructure even with a cold and rainny weather. We stayed at the Villa with sea view. Amazing gastronomic experience.

I went to this hotel to have a break from work and enjoy a few days reading. I had such a great time even with a bad weather. Meaning there is so much to do and no way to get bored. Doing nothing is also great there. Nice views everywhere and a great Spa. I reccomend the fully hosted rate for a complete experience. Other great points: the food is amazing! The private hot tubs are always super hot (as they may) and service is attentive. I want to come every year from now on.

This place is amazing. The location is secluded and private and quiet. With spectacular views and ambiance. The food is Michelin-level if it hasn't been rated yet. The quality and variety and flavors are top notch. The service is attentive without being intrusive, anticipating needs and remembering likes/dislikes. They are very well trained professional staff with a clear goal of making the guest enjoy his/her visit. I would compare it to Four Seasons Manele Bay (Hawaii, USA).

Truly an outstanding experience! My husband and I stayed in an Esmerelda villa and it was gorgeous, the service was perfect, food and wine top-notch. It was just a gorgeous relaxing and calm resort where every need is cared for without it feeling like effort. We were in Sao Paulo for business and wanted to get away for a few days but didnt think Rio would be relaxing, so we choose Awasi, very very smart choice. I would go back in an instant.
