WOW!! Awasi Santa Catarina was everything I needed and more. I had stayed in Awasi Iguazu right before going to Santa Catarina, so the bar was set very high. This hotel did not disappoint at all. I'm really impressed with Awasi overall and how well they treat and care for their guests. Ok, back to Santa Catarina. This was perfect for me as I wanted some quiet time with some adventure sprinkled in here and there. My villa was absolutely gorgeous. Spacious, clean and cozy. I also loved that that the huge shower opened up to natural elements if I wanted. The large jacuzzi tub and sauna were perfect, especially after a day of surfing. And the terrace was huge with lots of sun, lounge chairs, a seating area and of course a warm infinity pool. Sunsets were great to watch! All of the staff were on point!! They truly want to make your stay perfect. My personal concierge, Roman, was fabulous. Anything I wanted or needed was easily handled. All of my tour guides were fun and friendly. And the daily massages were amazing. They also offer a lot of different activities, so take advantage of these. Their bee tour was fun and delicious. :) They have their own bee hives there with different species. With a guide you can check them all out and taste their honey straight from the hives. I can go on and on about this stay. I highly recommend this hotel. I can't wait to check out their other locations one day!

As a family of four aged 60's and 30's, we stayed five nights, two couples in suites 22 and 23. The two previous reviewers' very favourable experiences correspond exactly to ours, which was exceptional. On every level, both as a 320 plus TA reviewer and luxury world traveller, Awassi Santa Caterina rates highly as a world class hugely enjoyable luxury stay. Rarely have we enjoyed such generous and comprehensive all inclusive hosting with complimentary multiple spa visits and boat trips freely offered. The area; land and sea is outstandingly beautiful and a particular highlight was a morning hotel boat trip, then dropped off at the picturesque local beach village for footy with the locals and lunch on the beach. Service levels are superb with the whatsapp butler method super friendly, responsive and efficient All the staff were friendly and brilliant but we have to give a special thank you and shout out to Roman and to Chris who went much further than the extra mile in many different ways that made the stay super special. Just spent 5 nights at the Awasi Santa Catrina over New Years Eve with our two adult children and their partners. We booked three Tingua villas, fully hosted, and the overall experience was exceptional. The rooms are private, spacious, immaculately clean, and the view was incredible. Each comes with its own soaking pool, hammock, sauna, two-person shower, fully stocked bar, wood burning fire place, comfortable bed with every type of pillow possible for different preferences, and more. The food at breakfast and at dinner was delicious and fresh. Breakfast consisted of home made sourdough breads, jams, juices, fruit, kefir, yogurt, granola, and a choice of eggs, smoked salmon, bacon and more. The dinner menu with wine pairing changed nightly and was creative, and only used top quality ingredients. The service was always attentive, friendly, and professional. Room and beach service was also available and staff delivered quickly to all requests. As part of our fully hosted package we enjoyed daily spa treatments. The Awasi has two spas - one situated in the jungle area, and another overlooking the ocean. Listening to the waves while you are massaged just adds to the relaxation. We also loved the Yoga, their gym, and several excursions to hike, snorkel, surf, and relax on their luxury powerboat. The party on NYE was unbelievable: They wanted it to be special and memorable, and it certainly was! One of our sons also booked the private island for an exclusive dinner with his partner. it too was a huge WOW! Overall , the resort created a relaxing, luxury experience that was perfect for our family to spend quality time together and also have space as couples to enjoy each other.

Very expensive for what it offers I expected much more for a hotel of this level. It was our 10th wedding anniversary, and we were not surprised in any way. We arrived at the hotel earlier, and they told us it would take about two hours for the room to be ready. In the end, we waited much longer because there was no room available.

We spent 3 nights here at the end of a wonderful 3 week holiday in Brazil, and we were thoroughly spoiled The hotel sits proudly on a beautiful, private, peninsula and villas are cleverly placed to enjoy spectacular views whilst being screened off from one another. Everything feels very private There were parts of the hotel closed for renovation, during a quiet time, so we had no access to the indoor pool, one of the restaurants or the little private island. This did not matter one jot! We were treated to the warmest hospitality, full of thoughtful and surprising touches. Nothing was too much trouble for anyone. They were all eager for us to have the very best time. Every single member of staff was charming, helpful and professional, particularly Roman and the very impressive Cleverson, who speaks multiple languages, is very knowledgable about wine, food, fauna and flora, and excellent company! The accommodation is truly luxurious, with the most comfortable beds and linens. The sunset views from our villa were stunning and the peace and quiet was energising. The food is delicious, and beautifully served, and portion sizes seemed ridiculously generous. The fabulous breakfast set us up for the entire day! If you have high standards, you will not be disappointed if you chose this exceptional hotel
