Hotel Mongibello Ibiza

Just home after a fabulous week at the Mongibello with my sister. Staff were brilliant, the breakfast buffet one of the best we have seen and the rooms and common areas kept immaculately clean. There are a number of very good restaurants within an easy walk and the town only about 15 minutes walk for even more choice. If I had to find one negative it would be the music around the pool which, in the morning particularly, seemed an odd mix of 60’s and even a French version of the Lambeth Walk which made us laugh! Hope to return again.

Hotel was clean and tidy, breakfasts were amazing, had an fantastic holiday but overall should be a 4star rather than 5 first impression every thing looks brilliant however when you get to the finer details certain things was missing, bedroom wasn’t clean properly and sometimes rubbish was still there when we got back, couldn’t find the TV control only to find it was in the made bed 🤔80% of the staff were great however we did find that the other 20% weren’t with some being rude and argumentative,

Lovely hotel, great location. Friendly, nice and helpful staff. Nice breakfast and great breakfast room. Good size room, clean. Great quiet location and quiet hotel. walking distance to the town and local restaurants, next to the small beach and market. Nice pool area.

From the moment we arrived to the time we left we enjoyed everything about this hotel. The vibe is so chilled. The staff can’t do enough for you and are so friendly. Shout out of Jose and Oscar who are superstars. The pool sunbeds are so comfy and the double beds are just perfect for couples. The pool was cool and big enough with inflatables to use. The food and drinks poolside were fabulous. Our room was fantastic. We had a side view of the sea which was beautiful. The bed was comfy, the tv had BBC so we could watch something if we wanted to. There is also a bluetooth speaker to use which we did. There’s a kettle and coffee machine to make drinks. An awesome balcony with a sofa and a well appointed and clean bathroom. The turndown service was a lovely treat. The whole area where the hotel is situated is stunning. Eating breakfast everyday looking out to the amazing coastline was not to be missed. The food at breakfast was perfect and so much choice. Lastly the attention to detail is what sets this hotel apart from others I’ve stayed in. They’ve thought of everything to make their guests stays the best it can be. My husband and I loved it all and can’t wait to come back again some day.

Gorgeous hotel with friendly staff, pool area is beautiful with comfy sun loungers and attentive waiter service, drinks on the pricey side. 9.50 euro for a pink of estrella and 15 for a mojito. Pool food was good, 22 euro for a club sandwich and fries but plentiful and enough for 2. Breakfast was from 8-10.30am and varied, fresh egg counter with chef did eggs Benedict, omelettes, fried eggs but there was always a queue. Worth it though! We had a deluxe sea view room and it was a partial sea view but very nice just not enough storage for a week, not a single drawer and I had to hang my dresses on the wall light. Didn’t encounter any grumpy staff in any area, all were friendly and happy to help. From reception to room attendant the staff were very pleasant. Overall a lovely hotel, would definitely return.
