About the Hotel

Hotel Mongibello Ibiza captures the glamour of 1960s Italian Riviera living through a distinctly Ibizan lens, creating a sophisticated escape inspired by “Dolce Far Niente,” the art of doing nothing beautifully. Set directly on the waterfront in Santa Eulalia with private beach access, the hotel blends retro Mediterranean elegance with contemporary luxury, from its sun-drenched pool terraces to interiors filled with vintage-inspired details and curated design touches. The rooms and suites are especially memorable, many offering sweeping sea views, furnished balconies, and expansive terraces designed for lingering Aperol-filled afternoons. Signature suites elevate the experience further with rooftop terraces, Gazebo showers overlooking the Mediterranean, Marshall Bluetooth speakers, premium bath amenities, cocktail service, and thoughtful touches like turndown service and in-room breakfast, all crafted to immerse guests in the hotel’s playful yet refined atmosphere.

Beyond the rooms, the hotel embraces the social spirit of Ibiza with stylish spaces designed for long lunches, sunset cocktails, and late-night music. Sorella Ristorante brings an elevated Italian dining experience to the island, while Sorella Terrazza offers panoramic Mediterranean views ideal for aperitivo hour. Guests can also spend evenings at Lola’s, the hotel’s velvet-lined cocktail club inspired by Ibiza’s legendary nightlife scene.

Journey through Ibiza 26

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 2 days ago

Last leg of our trip around Ibiza 2026 and what a joy to stay . From check in it all went great . Small rooms but clean and quaint Interior was just so marvellous, I loved the blue /white theme although I do think from the re fit that occurred 3 years ago the staircase lets the Hotel down from the gorgeous interior design . Breakfast I loved the rooms and the Italian feel to the whole choices - it was certainly a very different experience in itself . Quiet location but handy to a small coved Beach which was really lovely for a swim in the evening as mainly locals use this . Walk down the back of the Hotel and you will walk to the town - it is about ten mins at a good pace and a lovely area filled with fish restaurants , Beach bars etc . I loved the location of the Hotel itself.

Truly 5 Star *****

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 week ago

My husband, our adult children, and I just spent two wonderful weeks at this hotel and everything was absolutely 5-star. The whole property was immaculate. From the rooms to the restaurant, bar, gym, and pool area, it was spotlessly clean everywhere. Poolside was a dream. There were plenty of comfortable loungers, and the atmosphere was perfect thanks to some of Ibiza’s best DJs playing relaxed Balearic beats. It felt both luxurious and laid-back. What really made the stay special was the staff. Every single person greeted us with a genuine smile, and nothing ever felt like a hassle. A few people stood out in particular: . Oscar by the pool - always cheerful, always attentive, and the very definition of great customer service. He made sure we had everything we needed. . Aisha and Daniela - the perfect hosts. They were always around, ready to help, and made sure our holiday felt effortless and blissful. . The entire breakfast team - thank you for the warm welcomes every morning. . Gaston at the omelette station - watching him juggle multiple egg dishes with such skill, and always with a smile and such kind manners, was a highlight. It’s clear that the staff genuinely enjoy being there, and that happiness comes through in how they treat every guest. That’s rare, and it made our stay feel truly special. The quick and easy access to the special little stretch of beach was a cherry on top. Thank you to everyone we met and to those I haven’t named personally. Until next time! Wonderful stay

What a wonderful stay at The Mongibello. Very friendly & helpful staff. Extremely clean. The rooms are lovely and the beds are so comfy. I’m a light sleeper and I slept all night, every night. The breakfast choice is huge and I really appreciated the gluten free section with its own toaster! The omelet station is also really good and the breakfast staff were always welcoming. It’s a lovely space to sit in, sea views while you enjoy your morning coffee. The pool menu is delicious and if you’re staying for dinner I’d have that rather than the restaurant menu. We ate one night in the restaurant and it was disappointing. The pool has a nice vibe, special thanks to the always smiling Oscar. Occasionally the music was a touch too loud, but that’s personal preference and didn’t spoil our holiday. The small beach is lovely , you can rent sunloungers but no need because it’s very easy to access the beach from the hotel for a swim in the sea and then head back to your deluxe sunbed by the hotel pool. Sunbeds are plentiful, we never had a problem getting four together. We rented a car and there was always space to park in the complimentary hotel car park. The location is perfect. Quiet area, you can walk into Santa Eulària if you want something busier. The shop and restaurant at the back of the hotel are great. Easy driving to Experimental, Amante Beach Club, Playa de Bossa , Cala Llonga , Santa Gertrudis, Soho Farmhouse, Las Salinas beach & La Paloma. We went as a family of 4, with two young adults. Everyone loved it and I wouldn’t hesitate to return. I highly recommend the Mongibello ❤️

Rude staff and poor hotel

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 2 weeks ago

**Not worth the 5-star rating** We stayed here recently and, despite the 5-star label, this hotel fell far short of that standard. With so many hotel options in Ibiza, recommend looking elsewhere. The first issue was on arrival was an incorrect charge of €350 added to our room. When we raised it, we were initially told it was a mistake but then on day 2 met with accusations rather than help, and it took a full week of back-and-forth and repeated explanations before staff finally admitted, on our last day, that it was a system error on their end. The whole process was unnecessarily stressful, and for most of it we were treated as though we'd done something wrong. On top of that, unrelated and unsigned-for receipts were added to our room bill. When we questioned them, staff insisted aggressively that the charges were ours, but couldn't produce any proof or explanation to back that up. Jota, the manager was insulting to us and refusing to listen. Even when we tried to resolve things calmly, the rudeness continued rather than easing off. Not fit for his role Housekeeping was inconsistent, our room was often only half cleaned, and cleaning products were left behind by the maids on multiple occasions. Breakfast is advertised as included, but in practice items like a barista made coffee and other’s carry an additional charge, so it doesn't really function as an included breakfast at a nice hotel at all. Overall, this didn't come close to matching a 5-star experience, and the way complaints were handled made it worse. Wouldn't recommend.
