Fairmont Miramar Hotel & Bungalows

I had an amazing stay at the Fairmont Miramar Hotel and Bungalows! To my pleasant surprise, Ekaterina Kurepina reached out to me before arrival to offer her assistance in making my stay more enjoyable. She asked about my preferences and my arrival time to make sure I received the room I prefer and ready to go for my early morning arrival! Thanks to her my stay started out seamlessly and I felt very welcomed even before I arrived. There was a live piano performance in the lobby that I found to be a nice touch. I dined at the Fig restaurant for breakfast and my server Alex at the bar was very knowledgeable, friendly and attentive! Great experience all around, I am looking forward to coming back soon! The location is perfect: close to the beach, Santa Monica pier and Santa Monica downtown. The hotel offers car service to its guests which is very convenient, even though lots of places are within walking distance. Highly recommend this hotel while you are in Santa Monica!

I love the Fairmont in Santa Monica. It's so cute. Perfect beachside escape! Absolutely gorgeous. Perfect weather. Prime location. Very warm and attentive hospitality!! :) It was my first time here, and everyone is so nice at the Fairmont. Valet was excellent and took the time to show me around the hotel: pointing out The Spa, the restaurants, the coffee shop, the koi pond, and numerous places to sit and enjoy the property. The EMWell Spa at the Fairmont is amazing. I love it! If you are in the Santa Monica/LA area, or are staying at the Fairmont, or are a person who loves your Spa Days, and are looking for a World Class Massage Therapist, Mark would be at the top of my list of recommendations! The Fairmont has the best massage therapist in the world, Mark. I am a person who frequents luxury spas often, and Mark is the best massage I've ever had. Extremely knowledgeable and absolutely amazing. It's very hard to find this level of expertise. Finding the best massage therapists in the world is rare indeed. One of them is here at the Fairmont Spa. And imo Mark is the best in the world. Love and Gratitude for all the healing and recovery, the health and wellness...and simply feeling completely restored, and all your stress and tension has been released/melts away. A massage with Mark at The Fairmont Spa/EMWell Spa is a MUST! This treat is not to be missed!!! Massage therapist Mark is the best kept secret in the Santa Monica/LA area... The Spa is so cute. It is like little cottages. And the weather was perfect. Such a beautiful day. It was such a delight. The spa has a sauna, steam room, and showers. Everything was exceptionally clean and delightful. The lockers were awesome. Love the robe and slippers. Everyone at the spa is so nice, and it's very welcoming, inviting, and peaceful. I recommend The Fig Restaurant. The decor is very unique and super cute. The food was excellent. I just stopped in for a light bite after my spa treatment. The calamari was excellent. I did get several recommendations for next time. The sea bass, the salmon, the potatoes with chorizo, the pizzas and all of the pastas sounded amazing. I sat by the koi pond and it was so pretty and very peaceful. I also took a walk around the property. The property/gardens are so well kept and pretty. I loved the firepits. Santa Monica can get cold/pretty windy in the evenings (even in the summer), so bring a jacket. The hotel itself is situated in a prime location. You are in the heart of all the cool shops and restaurants in Santa Monica. To get to the beach, you cross the street, follow this short path (with sweeping views of the Pacific Ocean), cross the overpass, and you're at the beach. From there you can see the Pier and the Ferris Wheel. I really enjoyed my time at the Fairmont in Santa Monica. I highly recommend it and will definitely be back !!

Want to send a shout out to Boris and Christian in Guest Services who saved me this weekend when my car battery died in downtown Santa Monica. I had gone shopping after checking out at the hotel, and accidentally left my flashers on. I called AAA who said they couldn't help me for two hours. I called the hotel to see if they could offer any help, and the team of Boris and Christian saved the day for me. I LOVE this hotel. Talk about exceptional service and terrific luxury. 10 out of 10!
