Fairmont Miramar Hotel & Bungalows

We stayed one night in celebration of my 65th birthday. We were in king room with an ocean view. The room & bathroom was rather small but very clean & comfortable. The service was top notch from check-in to check-out. I was welcomed & greeted several times throughout our stay. We received cookies & water delivered to our room by Carlos and then a slice of birthday cake! Then later he brought me a vase for some flowers I received from my son. The valet attendants were friendly and the house car service gave us a ride to our dinner reservations and the driver, Angel was very nice! We had breakfast the next morning at the Fig & that was also very enjoyable. The food was great! We really enjoyed our time and it was a memorable birthday for me. Thank you !

Amazing service. Came here to celebrate our engagement and the hotel were kind enough to upgrade us to a lovely room. Ethan was especially nice and helpful. I can’t stress enough how grateful I am to them.

I’ve had the great joy of staying at The Fairmont Miramar in Santa Monica on 3 occasions within a 2-month period, and everything from the rooms to the restaurants to the service and more was outstanding. Assistant Managers Matthew & Georgey went out of their way to ensure my experience would be one to remember every single time thanks to great kindness and wonderful upgrades. Same for Jermaine at the front desk whom it’s been a pleasure to interact with and also went above & beyond. All of it being a reflexion of the fantastic management leadership under the Hotel Manager Thay. Lastly, whether staying at the hotel or just visiting LA, Fig restaurant is a must-try; the space is beautiful, service impeccable, and the food delicious. Special thanks to Matt for the great menu recommendations and conversation.

Stayed for 4 nights. We were given connecting rooms in the older building. A/C was off and on the first 2 days with broken unit. Leak in our room from the unit. At one point, workers in the room at 9:30pm trying to fix it. Per the manager this happens all the time. Really bad view of a roof of another building. Not what I would expect for over 1000 dollars a night. Friday night manager from 8/8 never followed up with us for the room change or compensation. Manager on check out did compensate us but the hotel is not worth it.

I had an amazing stay at the Fairmont Miramar Hotel and Bungalows! To my pleasant surprise, Ekaterina Kurepina reached out to me before arrival to offer her assistance in making my stay more enjoyable. She asked about my preferences and my arrival time to make sure I received the room I prefer and ready to go for my early morning arrival! Thanks to her my stay started out seamlessly and I felt very welcomed even before I arrived. There was a live piano performance in the lobby that I found to be a nice touch. I dined at the Fig restaurant for breakfast and my server Alex at the bar was very knowledgeable, friendly and attentive! Great experience all around, I am looking forward to coming back soon! The location is perfect: close to the beach, Santa Monica pier and Santa Monica downtown. The hotel offers car service to its guests which is very convenient, even though lots of places are within walking distance. Highly recommend this hotel while you are in Santa Monica!
