Oceana Beach Club Hotel

We visited friends this morning who were staying at the Oceana because we live nearby, so we had breakfast with them. Because we just live in the next town over, we have driven by the Oceana Hotel at least 200 times over the years. I never knew it was an actual hotel because it is nestled between these gorgeous high-end condominiums that overlook the ocean. That tells you how lovely the outside is. I always thought it was a top-of-the-line condominium building where people own their units and live there. First of all, the service was fantastic. The food was great. They have spent a lot of money renovating and updating this hotel, and the interior is exquisite. The rooms are wonderful, the beds are comfortable, and they are soon to open their newest restaurant in June 2025. This hotel is right on Ocean Boulevard, which runs along what is called Palisades Park trail. This trail is just across the street from the hotel, a location you have seen in many movies, and, as you walk along the trail, you’re overlooking the ocean. It is also within walking distance of so many great things in Santa Monica, such as the pier and many wonderful restaurants. Lenny Perlmutter, the bell captain, is a classy guy. He did something very nice for us today, which is just another example of the stellar service they provide. I recommend the Oceana to anyone who is coming from out of town or out of the country and who wants to have an ocean experience with high-class service and the feeling and experience of a Ritz Carlton-type hotel with the comfort of a smaller place that is lovely and cozy. Also, this is a wonderful place to come for the weekend if you just need to get out of town for a couple days. I highly recommend the Oceana Hotel.

The property and amenities were amazing and very relaxing. The staff was incredible with the level of service and help. Lenny was the best valet I had during my stay, he is professional and quick! Definitely will be staying next time in Santa Monica.

This hotel was amazing! They had the best service and were so helpful. The rooms were so great and designed so nicely. It wasn’t too crowded and had the perfect atmosphere. I highly recommend. I wanted to also say thank you to Lenny, he is was a great bell caption.

Very comfortable stay, good breakfast and valet service (many thanks for Mr Lenny Perlmutter’s help with valet and luggage carrying) :) we had a really good time at LA and will definitely choose this stay again if we come back in the future. :)

Absolutely serene. We were upgraded to room 123 with an oceanfront view. Large room with an incredibly comfortable bed. The room service breakfast was excellent and filling, perfectly prepared and delivered quickly after realizing that the iPad order did not originally send. All of the staff members were genuinely kind and made us feel very well cared for. Easy valet in and out. Walkable to many restaurants and third street. Treat yourself! You won’t regret it.
