Our room was incredible. We had a beautiful view of Palisades Park and the Pacific Ocean from our bed. The hotel is very walkable. The pool and bar are great.

Great boutique hotel
I come to this hotel about 3-4x a year! Great staff and service. The pool area is super nice. Also Lenny P., the bell captain is THE MAN. So kind and hard working.

Great but pricey
It’s perplexing to write a review of this property. The room was awesome in every way (size, furnishings, decor, cleanliness, comfort) and the location is perfect (not far from downtown and the pier but far enough away to be much calmer; great access to the park above the beach and the beach below). It’s just the price. I could stay at least 3 nights at another good hotel in Santa Monica for the price of one here ($1,000). It would be great to stay here again, but at this price point I don’t know that I will. Also, this was my first time at an LXR so I don’t really know the brand but I agree with another reviewer that the Curio Collection may be a better fit.

Perfect Weekend Getaway
We were so impressed with this place. It's a smallish, luxury hotel that couldn't have a better location. Our room was a suite, and the living room was giant. It was all nicely appointed and very well lit. We just really liked everything about the place. We live across town and it was a perfect weekend getaway.

Make you feel welcome
Man, what I gotta say this place is awesome and the service is top-notch. Even starting off with our valet guy. Nestor was very helpful greeting as well and making it feel like home. That started off a great time there. Highly recommend this place.
