Santa Monica Proper, great place for a vacation!!
From registration to check out, everything was great We were greeted by a very friendly and welcoming front desk associate and given water After telling us that our room was not ready, and us relating that we had been up since 3am, we were upgraded and given a ready room Our room was very nice and very clean We loved our outdoor space. Too bad the weather didn’t cooperate, we would’ve liked to have been able to use it more. We went to the restaurant for breakfast every morning and we loved the menu and the food was wonderful. The wait stuff was very attentive The rooftop restaurant was beautiful and we had drinks and appetizers on a sunny afternoon. The food was very well presented and delicious as well as the drinks All in all, you had a great stay at the Santa Monica Proper We will definitely be back.

A proper ‘go-to’!
The proper Santa Monica is our ‘go-to’ hotel for lots of good reasons. The location is perfect The building and decor is appropriately sheik and cool but not overstated. The staff are always attentive. Makes for a relaxing test sophisticated place. The two restaurants offer enough variety that dining out is not necessary.

Another great stay at the Proper Santa Monica. Attentive service, great atmosphere, and a wonderful stay. Each time I have been here, the staff has been exemplary. Every hotel has its challenges, and whenever I needed something taken care of, the staff was there and able to effectively and efficiently solve the problem. Thanks so much for making my time at the Proper Santa Monica comfortable and accommodating. Will be back for sure.
