It Doesn't Get Any Better!
The Santa Monica Proper is our favorite place to be for vacation. The amenities, design, restaurant quality, roof-top pool, location and staff all rock! This is why we come 'home' to the SMP two or three times per year!

Great location near the beach. Love the vibe, the design, the landscaping, etc. Killer rooftop deck bar and pool. Highly recommended!

My favorite stay in LA!
The Santa Monica Proper is my go to whenever I travel to LA! Architecturally and visually appealing, comfortable rooms and beds (loved upgrading to the wellness room — the 8 Sleep is amazing!), and the staff is incredibly attentive and kind. I love staying here!

A hotel not to be missed!
We had an amazing stay at Proper Hotel Santa Monica! The design is stunning, the rooms are beautifully appointed, and the atmosphere feels both relaxing and vibrant. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, and every detail—from the rooftop pool to the dining options—was exceptional. We left feeling refreshed and can’t wait to come back!
