We had to take care of urgent matters at a federal office nearby and made to unfortunate decision to stay here . The rate was much higher than quoted on the phone. We were tired after driving and just paid through the nose like fools. Several baby cockroaches were seen on the third floor room: one in the toilet area and two in the main bedroom. My uncle paid with his credit card and there was fraud on it two days later for a Louis Vitton purse. Do not stay here!!

Beautiful property in a perfect location; walk to restaurants, easy freeway access, shopping, etc. Very walkable area. Comfortable rooms, with a good variety. Love the decor, the comfortable lobby with a fire and fire pits outside, gardens and pool. Nice bar and delicious breakfast. Very friendly people.

Caution - This hotel engages in deceptive practices, do not book! I booked under the "Hyatt Member rate", the least expensive, non- advance purchase rate. Unbeknownst to me the hotel converted it into an advance purchase, non-refundable rate. I only found this out when I went to cancel and a warning went up saying the rate was non-refundable. So I spent 45 minutes on the phone with Hyatt sorting this out. The facts were on my side so they had to relent. But then the rep quoted the hotel manager saying they would honor a full refund "just this once", which made me furious. It was a joke - they knew the rate wasn't non-refundable - the reservation had been in the system 6 weeks and they hadn't even charged my card. And nothing on my confirmation said the rate was non-refundable. But a person with less patience, who didn't have the better part of an hour to argue, might have just let the hotel steal from them. This is now the second time this has happened with Hyatt in the last two months, which has given me pause from staying there again. (any lawyers interested in a class action suit?) A second form of deception... this hotel charges over $40 a night for a "destination fee!" That's right, you make it to the destination and Hyatt isn't satisfied with just charging you a high rate. No, they want to throw in some BS charges that they think you won't notice. Digging deeper, if you look at what they charge you that fee for, a "wide range of benefits." Unfortunately, the benefits are superficial as they are for nonsense charges that don't cost the hotel a penny. 75% of the charges were for 2 for 1 wine tasting charges at various wineries. So why is the hotel deserving of any payment as a result? I have stayed at Hyatt for years and am at one of the highest levels in their frequent stay program. But recent policy changes which basically involve cheating the customer rather than being upfront and honest have dimmed my interest in the chain. JB Pritzker, should be ashamed. I would have thought he'd have a higher character.

What a wonderful 3 day weekend getaway! The location is ideal! We love the vibe of the hotel- patio room is comfortable and convenient and the pool area is amazing! The complimentary coffee and tea in the morning is a nice and caring touch. A big shout out to Izabella Garza, front desk host, for her professionalism, eagerness to help and happy demeanor. One of our favorite Hyatts! Recommended!

I've been coming to this property at least once a month for the past few years and really enjoy its location, activities, and service. Will continue to come here whenever I am in the area. They have a nice pool & hot tub. Also I believe on Sundays afternoon they have free smores for the kids on the main fire pit & they always have free wine tastings from local wineries especially during the summer/spring.
