Close to downtown and RRBC!

Hyatt Regency Somoma Wine Country is located walking distance to downtown eating and Russian River Brewing Company. The hotel is clean and the staff is very friendly. We never had to wait for an elevator. It was our second time staying there and if we're in Santa Rosa again we'll be back.

Adequate but aging and nickel and dimed

Spent a weekend here with the wife and kids. Facilities were adequate though showing their age. Some amenities had been dropped since our last visit (pool cafe, evening smores). Biggest frustration was being charged a resort fee as a globalist.

Noisy AC unit

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 2 weeks ago

My husband and I stayed for one night and unfortunately had a disappointing experience due to a loud AC unit in Room 250. Even when the AC panel was turned off, the unit continued to make a loud, continuous noise (similar to leaking water or crack/ticking noise), which made it difficult to sleep—especially after a long day of travel. We reported the issue at checkout and followed up via email with a video. Manager Benjamin reached out and was initially very responsive, asking, “At this point, what can I do to make it right?” However, after a couple of emails, I never heard back from him again, which was disappointing and left the issue unresolved. We redeemed a free night for this stay, so it felt like a wasted opportunity. That said, the property was clean and in a convenient location, and I’m hopeful this was an isolated incident.

A fantastic place to stay for excursions into wine country and beyond

Outstanding experience. The staff were extremely accomodating and made our experience a memorable one. The Hyatt was central for our trips west to Bodega Bay, and also into Sonoma, Napa, and surrounding areas. Would definitely come back again to stay.

Awesome Hotel and Staff

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 3 weeks ago

After reading a few of the reviews I was anticipating a non friendly staff who weren’t willing to meet our needs. This wasn’t the case!! The staff was beyond friendly and assisted us quickly. In fact, they were much friendlier than a lot of hotels we have stayed at. The location is ideal and the rooms were clean and the bed was awesome!!
