It's fine - it's a bit away from the wineries and in Santa Rosa, which is a cute town with great restaurants and fun bars. You should know its right by the highway and not every room has a great view, but the pool is nice and relaxing. They have a good amount of activities you can opt into. We went for one night but would probably choose a different hotel next time if we want to spend more time wine tasting. Noise level was terrible -- there was a party happening in the room next door to us that went past midnight which was probably just bad luck for us.

We stayed at Hyatt Regency Sonoma Wine Country and had a very serious issue with the bed in our room. During the night, both my wife and I became very itchy after lying in the bed. After the stay, my wife developed multiple red, swollen patches on her body. We contacted our family doctor and shared photos, and her initial impression was that they looked consistent with bug bites that may have triggered an allergic reaction. This was not just an uncomfortable night. My wife continued to be extremely uncomfortable after the stay and needed medical attention. I reported the issue to the hotel and asked them to inspect the room and bed, take the room out of service, share the inspection results, and provide a clear process for resolution. The General Manager initially replied, but after I provided more details about my wife’s condition, I received no response for a full week. For an issue involving a guest’s health and possible room cleanliness or pest concerns, that lack of follow-up is completely unacceptable. A hotel at this level should take this kind of complaint seriously, communicate promptly, and provide clear follow-up. Based on our experience, I cannot recommend this property.

The hotel itself wasn't bad but the staff wouldn't accept us returning a charger that we never opened or needed. They easily could have accepted the charger back but instead felt that they would rather keep the $20 then satisfy a customer. For two nights at $750 total this place isn't worth it.

Our room was infested with ants. Teeny tiny ants that started over the bathroom and water, that also made their way around the coffee machine and mini fridge. No offer to switch rooms, or make it right (like, hey, a complimentary breakfast would be nice when ants got into the mini fridge!). Instead, they sent someone to treat the ants while we were in the room, so we could go to sleep smelling ant spray. I have tried to follow up with the front desk five times since our Dec 2025 stay and can't get anyone to respond. Even Hyatt customer service couldn't get their front desk to respond. On Yelp, there are also multiple reviews about the ants. Wish I had researched reviews more before our last minute planned getaway.

Beautiful hotel beautiful gardens. Loved the lobby with the fire place. Wish we could have stayed longer. Weather too cold for the pool but we hope to go back next time
