We stayed for four nights from Christmas through the end of the year, and everything—from the modern, beautiful room, the stunning view to the indescribably warm hospitality—was simply exceptional. We stayed in a Club Room, and the Club Lounge was modern, elegant, and incredibly comfortable. We enjoyed beautifully presented and delicious breakfasts, afternoon tea, and evening cocktails, along with a wonderful selection of light bites and drinks. Their food and drinks are really AMAZING! They are almost art - beautiful presentations and taste really good! Above all, the hospitality was truly outstanding. The reservations team responded quickly and with great care, accommodating all of our requests, for which we are truly grateful. Special huge thanks to Leandro, for always going extra miles to make our requests possible. Also thanks to Christine and Benjamin for welcoming us at the reception. The hospitality of the Club Lounge team exceeded perfection. Thank you to Mackarena and Florencia, who always welcomed us with a warm smile and excellent service, and to Joaquin, who treated us with such professionalism and kindness from beginning to end. To all the Club Lounge staff—thank you sooo much. You guys are the BEST! Because of all of you, our stay in Santiago became truly unforgettable. We have travelled to 50+ countries in the past, and I strongly believe this hotel is the best ever. We cannot imagine staying anywhere else in Santiago, and we will absolutely return. Thank you again from the bottom of our hearts!

Had a great stay at the MO. Lovely spacious room, great club lounge, but the best part was the wonderful staff and service from everyone but especially all in the club lounge and Mackarena & Arantza in particular. Thanks for a memorable Christmas stay!

I had a really mixed experience here, leaning negative mostly because of service and some pretty intrusive practices. Check-in was sloppy. I checked in at 3pm, but no one told me my room was ready — I had to go back to the desk myself to find out. My luggage wasn’t brought to my room until around 4pm, and only after I called to ask about it. No proactive communication, no apology. Also when I arrived at the hotel people were just standing around, no one helped me with my luggage (3 large check ins) or even tried to make eye contact with me. When I finally got into the room, it smelled strongly like dirty mop water. Not subtle. First impression was not great at all. The most frustrating part, though, was their practice of physically checking the minibar before checkout. Someone came to inspect it while we were actively packing and getting ready. I found this extremely intrusive and disruptive. I’ve traveled extensively and have never experienced a hotel doing an in-person minibar check like this. It felt unnecessary and honestly disrespectful of guests’ privacy. Food was a mixed bag. Most of it was genuinely very good, and overall the dining was a highlight. However, room service chicken breast was shockingly bad …. super dry. Just don’t get that and you’ll be fine. It arrived super quickly. Overall: great food (with one notable miss), but service issues, poor communication, and invasive checkout practices really took away from the experience. I wouldn’t stay again unless those things change.

My wife and I spent one night here. The hotel and the grounds are beautiful. We had a deluxe view king room that was spacious and very nice. It had a large picture window with great views. We got a few English tv channels which was a bonus. The bathroom was also large and very nice. It didn’t have a door for privacy in the shower, though, which we didn’t like. In terms of service, things got off to a good start @ check-in. The woman at the front deskwas helpful and efficient. Things went downhill fast after that, though. It started with not getting the luggage rack that the baggage porter said he would drop off. Then the woman who functioned as a quasi-Maitre D’ for the hotel’s restaurants indicated that we could only eat at their expensive Asian or Italian restaurants. She spoke little English and conveniently neglected to mention that the cheaper Atrium lounge had availability. The server at the Atrium Lounge took our order and never returned - no water refills; no chance to order another round of drinks; etc. We had to chase someone down to get a bill. We returned to our room and discovered that the turn-down service only gave us one water bottle, candy serving and one pair of slippers even though the room was registered for 2 people and we had two large suitcases. None of the service issues, standing alone, were significant. Taken as a whole, though, it seemed like widespread incompetence. For the prices that they charge I expect more and do not recommend the hotel.

I left my wedding ring in our room and only realized after checkout. When I called, I was simply told that “nothing was found,” with no indication that any real investigation had been conducted and no explanation of who had accessed the room after we left. For something as important and sentimental as a wedding ring, this lack of effort and accountability was deeply upsetting and extremely disappointing. The rest of the stay was also underwhelming. Service at the lobby restaurant was terrible: despite at least six servers standing around, and most tables being empty, no one approached our table and, after about 15 or 20 minutes, I had to get up and ask someone to take our order. The same thing happened when we were ready to pay and had to actively request the check. The food itself was genuinely awful and far below what you would expect from a hotel with this reputation and pricing. Even the room showed a lack of care. The bathroom had noticeable cosmetic damage on the wall from the toilet lid, and no effort had been made to fix something that could easily be prevented with a simple plastic protector on the wall or lid. Overall, the property is overrated and does not live up to its image. But the fact that my wedding ring was not “found” is actually a painful experience for me. I left it there, and it should have been found.
