This is a fantastic hotel in a brilliant location. I was so impressed from the room to the pool to the club lounge. It’s one of the best city hotels I have ever experienced …! The team were totally charming from front desk to the club lounge. Location seemed central and we got where we needed to go, it’s only about 20 minutes drive to the airport too. The Pool temperature was a bit cold but I quite liked it compared to the Santiago summer heat. What a fantastic property, I will consider staying at a Mandarin Oriental hotel again based on this excellent experience . A special mention to Arantza and the club team on the 16th floor.

Horrible. service really bad, air conditionning not functionning, requiring 5 call to get it fixed, a noise not stopping in the room (supposed to be an upgrade to the 18th or 19th floor presidential room or something. View is nice all the rest is bad. Chande our room without notice. Spa does not exist etc... AVOID !!

I ave stayed in hundreds f hotels and this is one of the most badly managed that Imhave ever stayed at You can see it in the platitudes that their PR person puts on replies to negative reviews on TripAdvisor. They are corporate spin and do not answer the issues raised We had a number of issues, but I will just give you the worst - we were booked as part of the regular Silversea groups they have - they needed $200 on a credit card to ensured I paid extras - they would not take a debit card, and told me I would have to pay as I went - no alternative was offered - I saw the duty manager and I suggested the money in cash -he took money, and told me I could sign in bars and restaurants - we went to bar, and signed for drinks - we went back to our room, and had a phone call from a wound up barman who accused us of signing without room credit - I go to reception and see duty manager, who tells me for reasons unknown to him, someone has removed my $200 from our room credit. - he very brusquely refused to apologise - If the hotel wish to treat guests as potential crooks, then they have to find a better way of sorting this sort of problem. They could start by saying SoRRY when they goof I would certainly never stay at this hotel again. The front desk is chaos, none of the staff know what they are doing, and if you read TripAdvisor reviews, you will see that management is weak and feeble

This is an amazing hotel. We travel a lot and always stay at the best hotels available, most frequently Four Seasons. This is one of the best hotels ever. The rooms, the food, the service are all A+ My wife and I stayed here following our 4 nights on Isla Pascua (aka Easter Island). It could not have been better

We must say that this hotel exceeded our expectations. Booked as part of a Silversea Antarctica Cruise package, we paid a small premium to secure a high floor with mountain views. It was a very large room with wraparound views of the city, west to the Andes. We used the pool, and the outdoor dining area. Our love of Pisco, and its origins led us to meeting Sebastian, the hotel’s restaurant supervisor. Together with Fabian, the bar captain, they took us on a ‘pisco tasting journey’ This was such an unexpected, but wonderful and personal experience from two very busy people in a very large hotel. Something that doesn’t happen often these days. We left this hotel happy and satisfied.
