Just as one would expect, this was a comfortable, luxurious stay. Great amenities, beautiful, if rather chilly pool and helpful staff. We also liked the location.

Great 2-night family stay at the Mandarin Oriental Santiago. Large well appointed rooms with views out to the Andes. Very large swimming pool with plenty of sun loungers. Good restaurants (we really enjoyed our al fresco dinner at Matsuri). Conveniently located in a modern and safe neighbourhood, easy accessible (from downtown and airport) and next to a large shopping centre. Only issue was the limited availability of taxis at reception.

We came early and stayed for three days before the Silversea cruise. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay @ Mandarin Oriental and the staff were very friendly and especially one staff member in particular Gonzalo made our dining experience special. Even though there weren’t many vegetarian options on the menu, the restaurant staff went out of their way to please the customer @ Matsuri and Senso.

This is a nice place with nice rooms, just very poorly managed. The service in the restaurants is like nothing I have experience and non existent. They truely do not care. Our room was made up with bedding that was still wet from the laundry. A call for room service that never arrived, we received a wake up call for another guest. They have a beautiful pool, however ice cold and very few guests use it. This was our first time staying at the brand and we would never stay here again. I would suggest all beware of all the TripAdvisor reviews with very low contributions.

Everything was great from Francisca Rue at the front desk to Diego Serrano and Valentina Requena in the club lounge. Thank you. I hope to be back soon Mark S
