Lovely building, well maintained. Excellent breakfast with eggs options. Helpful and friendly staff who let us leave luggage while we spent two nights in Valparaiso. Interesting neighborhood with excellent street art. Highly recommend.

Excellent, welcoming & helpful staff! Gorgeous & comfortable hotel with lovely garden! Breakfast also excellent - first time on this trip of being able to get my egg just the way I like! Can highly recommend this hotel & would stay again!!

We love Matilda’s. This was our second stay and we are booked for another couple of days before we fly home. The place is a renovated old mansion, full of character, with comfy rooms and fabulous breakfasts. The staff are delightful and oh so helpful.
