NH Collection Plaza Santiago

We had our last great view of the Andes from our suite which was tastefully appointed and cozy. Staff service was impeccable and breakfasts were generous and well presented. We chose this hotel for the heated pool as we are lap swimmers and its length was a compromise but it was compensated with great views. It is conveniently located to the Metro (Tobalaba Station) and a famous shopping complex (Costanera) with its famous view of the city and beyond. Wished we had stayed here in our initial stay in Santiago!

I absolutely fell in love with Santiago. The warmth and kindness of the people felt just like home in Mexico. At the hotel, Belén was outstanding – proactive, friendly, and her tips and recommendations made our trip so much easier. Félix was always attentive and willing to help with anything we needed. The location is perfect, with everything close by, and the rooms were very comfortable for a great night’s sleep. A wonderful stay that I would happily repeat!

Very unprofessional guest service, we booked our stay throught Amex Platinum., The Hotel receptionist insisted several times... that our benefits could only be guarantee by contract on Hotel disclosure, it seemed much more like they were doing us a favor on any upgrade than offering any benefit, sure not a welcoming eviroment...standard after a long flight. We arrived at 0600 Am with 5 bags, the door keeper has never helped us with our lugagge, anyway, while we were trying to get a room, we were informed first that our late check out was 1400, when it says by contract it was 1600, so we stayed waiting in the lobby until 0830 am, but we were too tired, so we went to the counter paid the $15 dollar per hour...for the early arrival, after that, we were informed that no upgrade could be done, while we got in the room, we noticed a very tear down interior and lack of maintaince: paint scraches, wall cracks, door scratches, a stained sofa... and so on, my perspective staying at other NH colection Hotels, gave me an impression that this Hotel should be downgraded, as related to the type of reception service. And maintance... you may look up the roof at the main lobby... and have a clear vision of what you are going to face in the room. And by the way after paying $45 dollars for early checking in.... and no upgrades...we received back our 5 stored bags, and no help whatsover to get them in our room. Just the 2 Receptionists complayning about our requests and instatisfaction to other guests...... as a bonus...

Our last stop on our South American journey and the NH did not disappoint. Large, comfortable room, great bathroom/shower and a killer view of 'Sanhatten'. Hotel is right next to the Costenera tower and metro stop if you need it. Many options for shopping, dining are right there. There's also an Hop On/Off tour bus stop directly across the street. There restaurant and bar were nice and the service was very good. Great access to many of the sights and if you plan to go out of town it's a good base. We hope to come back one day.

Excellent stay! The breakfast was delicious, the staff was incredibly friendly and polite, and the bed was very cozy. The location is fantastic. The only downside was the lack of a towel warmer, which would be useful during colder months like August. Other than that, I have no complaints. I highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay here again.
