NH Collection Plaza Santiago

We spent 3 nights in this hotel. Location is great! Good breakfast. Unfollow, rooms are far from perfectly. Rooms are big with no shelf or draw space at all. A/C j. Our room did not work We asked a front desk to fix it with no results what so ever.

Miguel Carpio and another female employee (I did not catch her name) turned my horrible personal experience into one that made me thankful for terrific customer service like that. When I arrived at the hotel, I discovered I had left my wallet in the taxi. Miguel tried everything to contact the taxi driver, to no avail. I was so down and out. But to give me a boost Miguel upgraded my room to a suite and included breakfast. That made me feel much better. They were great as were the other staff members I encountered in the two days I stayed there.

Hotel is located in a good neighborhood and next door to the Grand Mall and within walking distance of too many good restaurants.

I went to this hotel in October 5th - 9th 2024, but TripAdvisor would not allow me to click thta date, as the outer limit is now for stays since November 2024. Although I have taken a long to write this review, I had always intended to document my experience which is still so fresh in my memory and is such a happy one. I don’t think I have ever had such a surprisingly delightful stay at a business hotel. The highlight was coming down to breakfast every morning and being greeted and served by the most elegant Maître D I have ever encountered. I had written his name down, but have lost my notes. Such a mix of politeness and friendliness. I might as well have been dining in a 5 star restaurant. To deal with stomach cramps from the long trip, I asked for papaya one day, voila papaya became available on the fruit table. The next day at breakfast, he remembered my preference and brought it over right away, although the service was buffet. The breakfast range was delightful. Front desk staff, room service staff, were attentive, responsive and professional. I was very comfortable there and would be happy to visit again. I had also written down the name of the hotel manager, but I can’t find my notes. Such a shame. I would have loved to commend everyone by name. The two main male servers in the breakfast dining area, the front desk crew, the manager, room service. All tops. The location of the hotel is ideal, next door to the tallest building, where there is a shopping mall and a floor full of restaurants. Down the road from there is a street lined with restaurants of international cuisine. Fine hotel, highly recommended.

Wonderful service in this hotel! Very friendly, helpful staff. Good mattress, clean large room. Right next to large mall for any shopping, even groceries and tallest building on the continent, so easy for orientation.
