Ritz Carlton in Santiago (Las Condes area) is an old world luxurious hotel. The vibe is that of a rich grandfather’s library or office with dark woods. The hotel is in a convenient location with cafes, restaurants and shopping nearby. The room is huge, bright and clean. The bathroom comes with a tub and a separate toilet and shower. The breakfast spread is plentiful with vegan and gluten free options. The rooftop pool is nice and heated with a nice view of the mountains and the Costanera Tower. Would like to mention some staff that made our stay memorable. Italo at the front desk welcomed us and was very efficient. Scarlet from housekeeping, the ladies at the spa/pool area and the porters, Alexander and an older guy I missed getting his name. I also want to mention that their restaurant, Estro served us one of the best meals we’ve ever had. Their ceviche, shrimp salad (will not forget this salad) and the abalone dish were delicious! And these were all from the appetizers selection. Overall, will recommended to people who wants a bit of luxury in the center of Las Condes.

Excellent service and location. Great attention to detail. Good: - Lovely service from front of house to pool. - The executive club was great and the staff attentive. Ismael was so good and really helped us with booking things and advising on little things like the weather in Valparaiso. It’s these little things that make the experience. - The rooms were spacious and well appointed with good shower pressure - The hotel was clean and well maintained - the food was excellent in the executive club and restaurant - great food nearby especially la Cabrera - good concierge with really helpful staff - great transport service that drops you anywhere and picks you up on request esp. Diego and Julio - excellent shower pressure - comfy beds Not so good: - the room keys and lift access keys kept wiping and we needed to have them reset many times per day. Bad - the room aircon was not effective and really noisy struggling to get the room to 23 degrees Celsius

The rooms were spacious, clean and updated, location of the hotel is excellent and the people that work there were super helpful and friendly. The down side, and it's our preference, is that it's a staid, Marriott like hotel with minimal character

My Dad and I just wrapped up a brief trip to Chile. We stayed at the Ritz Santiago and found the property had a lot of amenities, mostly friendly service, but also still some elements a bit lackluster (for the brand). We stayed on the club level on the 10th floor and we truly appreciated having the lounge available to us - it made such a difference after a long day of sightseeing. This lounge had a TON of staff - more people than I've ever seen at a RC club and they were friendly and helped us out quite a bit. From arranging transportation to securing last minute reservations - these agents proved their worth. The club never felt crowded and I appreciated what felt like a luxury experience. The lobby staff was a bit disappointing from check-in (agents felt dismissive, the doorman didn't help with luggage, and the waiters at the main restaurant were very disappointing.) The hotel needs some renovations but its still a solid property for South America.
