The Ritz-Carlton, Santiago

The service at the Ritz-Carlton Santiago was given with genuine warmth and consistency. It was exceptional from arrival to departing seven nights later. Every outing started and completed with enthusiastic doormen/valets, staff members in the executive lounge were engaging and interested. The housekeeping team were courteous, leaving a significantly clean room every time and always respected the privacy sign; they went above and beyond with a lovely bottle of champagne during the stay left. The rooms could do with a paint, it is old school comfort not from Milan interior design week however after many long walks returning to a luxuriously appointed little home away from home in such a spacious comfy room made for a totally enjoyable stay. Oh and the food! Dont forget to try their restaurant. We never eat at hotels, although on the last night decided to try it. The pricing is good and the overall experience factor…wow is the word. Great location in the city too safe and easy to walk off all the great Chilean cuisine you’ll eat. Thank you for a great stay.

Excellent 5 star hotel in Santiago financial el golf district. Probably the best breakfast I have had anywhere. Impressive rooftop pool under a glass dome. Staff professional, friendly and multilingual. Rooms well appointed and well serviced. Very reasonable rates for the only Ritz in South America.

In some ways, it's the Ritz you'd expect: there is a classy feel to the establishment. Room is comfortable, my bedding requests were honored, and staff is generally very nice. In other ways, it's not the Ritz I expected. No one was there to greet you or help with luggage on arrival. I found a hair on my bed. And printing requires you to email what you need printed to the front desk: I know that is common nowadays, but for a business hotel, it really is not costly to have a printer where people can connect either their laptop or USB, so that they don't have to send sensitive documents by email to a third party.

We had a great stay at the Ritz Carlton in Santiago. It is a beautiful hotel in a lovely location. Special thanks to Sebastian at the front desk, Jose and Nicholas at the bar, and Omar at breakfast for making our stay wonderful! Would definitely recommend staying here.

The room was really nice and we were upgraded as I’m a Gold member which was great. Some housekeeping is needed as the one bulb had gone in the lamp and the safe battery was low. The air con also didn’t do a great job in cooling the room. The pool area and small outdoor terrace were superb. This truly makes this hotel stand-out. Pool, jacuzzi and the whole area were stunning. The Club Lounge was superb. Lots of decent quality food and the staff were incredibly welcoming and friendly. The toilet didn’t have any soap, and despite us telling the staff, this wasn’t replenished. I guess this would be how I would sum-up the hotel: really nice, but some processes need tightening to make it that Ritz-Carlton quality.
