Overpriced. Too many lifts to take to access They had a huge ventilation problem (food smel from restaurant in the room) and they acted as surprised.

To sum it up in one word, “catfished.” As a hotel it’s fine, but to stay at the W you pay a premium over other similar hotels for the vibes, that this place does not pass the vibe check. It claims to be a 5 star hotel, and maybe it was 20 years ago, but the place is tired and worn. The carpet in the elevator to the pool is held together with duct tape. The photography on the rooms on the website makes the rooms look elegant and posh, the reality is they are pretty standard. Breakfast buffet was meager and disorganized. The roof pool had beautiful views but was pumping house music like it was a club at 6pm. Maybe that’s your jam, but it wasn’t mine. I felt decades too old to be staying here and I’m only in my 40s. For some reason, transfer to the airport costs double here what it does at the other two Marriotts, despite being the same or less distance. Although available, late checkout was 50% the cost of the nights stay. Honestly, we left feeling taken advantage of. We stayed in 3 different Marriott properties during our time in STGO, this was by far the most expensive and unquestionably our least favorite of the three. A few pluses: The neighborhood is great. There are some amazing restaurants (Tiramisu, Birra Bar) just a few minutes walk away. Welcome champagne in the lobby was a wonderful touch. The balcony on the “Spectacular” Room was spacious and offered amazing views. Unfortunately the smell from the neighbors smoking wafted directly into our room wheneven we had we had the door open, even a little. Beds were comfortable, but the pillows need a refresh, they were almost flat.

W Santiago is in such a fantastic part of the city, surrounded by plenty of great restaurants and things to do. The hotel itself is beautiful, comfortable, and instantly makes you feel at home. Daniella went above and beyond to welcome us and get us excited about our stay — for some of us, it was even our second time here! This is truly a standout Marriott property, with a great on-site restaurant and an amazing rooftop bar that’s not to be missed. I’d definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Santiago!

I stayed at the W for three nights and it was amazing. I was really impressed by the staff's attention to small details. I would like to highlight the breakfast staff, Iasnaia and Pablo, who were both very kind and served me very well. Congratulations to the W.

Everything was really good. Service, staff, and breakfast all excellent. I stayed with my family and we had a great time.
