Embracing a legacy of rich history dating back to the 15th century, Hodelpa Nicolas de Ovando Hotel is located on the first paved road of the New World, Calle Las Damas, in the heart of Santo Domingo’s historic Zona Colonial, designated a UNESCO Heritage Site. Comprising three stone houses and courtyards built in 1502, the historic building was the very first to be built on the country’s colonial land and the home of the town’s founder and first Spanish governor of the Americas, Nicolas de Ovando, and his companion Christopher Columbus.

I did a day pass with my friends and it was amazing! Customer service was exceptional, everyone was accommodating, quick, warm and just so friendly! Food portions are huge and pretty tasty. Mary luz by the pool made everything even better! Literally felt so taken cared of will always come with friends or family

The Hodelpa Nicolás de Orvando is a stellar hotel. The decor and environment are to die for, the staff are friendly, professional and at your service 25/7, the room was quiet, dark, well appointed yes and with a lovely view. The location is very convenient. I highly recommend Hodelpa Nicolás de Orvando.
