Canaves Oia Epitome

From the moment we arrived, Canaves Epitome felt like a gem in paradise. The staff was absolutely fantastic, warm, attentive, and always ready to cater to our every need, making us feel truly special throughout our stay. The infinity pool is simply magnificent, probably the most stunning I have ever seen in any hotel. The food was beyond exceptiona. The quality and flavors were unimaginably good, turning every meal into a memorable experience. We were also surprised with a birthday welcome package that exceeded all expectations. The thoughtful touches, combined with one of the best cakes I have ever tasted, made the celebration unforgettable. The service, the atmosphere, and the overall experience at Canaves Epitome were outstanding in every way. I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough. It is pure perfection.

My wife and I stayed at Canaves Epitome for two nights to celebrate her birthday, and we were totally blown away by the setting, the food, and the staff. When we arrived, the front desk team generously upgraded our room to one of the Hideaway Pool Suites, and we were both delighted to see our room had celebratory cake and wine compliments of the hotel. (I think I might that tipped them off about this weeks ago, and it totally skipped my mind that I had done so. The staff did not share my forgetfulness.) Highlights included the airy gym, the beautiful rooms, the fantastic breakfast, the delightful pair of drivers running the quick free shuttle into Oia, and the stunning views of the Santorini sunset. 10 out of 10.

We recently stayed at Canaves Epitome and were blown away by the calm, quiet atmosphere, making it an ideal getaway for couples looking to truly relax. The hotel strikes the perfect balance of modern luxury with authentic Santorini charm – everything from the design to the setting feels rooted in the island’s spirit while still delivering a sleek, high-end experience. Our pool room with a sea view was exceptional – beautifully designed, spacious, and incredibly private. Waking up to those views each morning was unforgettable. The service was flawless, attentive without ever feeling intrusive, and every interaction felt warm and genuine. Food across the hotel was excellent, whether at breakfast, poolside, or dinner – thoughtful, fresh, and beautifully presented. While the hotel feels wonderfully secluded, it’s just a short cab ride into Oia, which made it easy for us to pop in and explore the town’s famous back alleys and cliffside views. In fact, we’re already planning to return – next time with our young kids, as we think they’d also love both the hotel and the magical experience of wandering through Oia’s charming streets. Canaves Epitome is a true gem – a place where you can unwind in style while still soaking in the best of Santorini.

Me and my husband came here to connect and rewind together, and we had a wonderful experience so far in this resort. The staff here is truly so kind and personable. After a long day’s travel, we were greeted by Nicoletta and Dimitri at the front desk, and they were both so sweet and had so much positivity when conversing. Nicoletta guided us with the room check in, and even though we were bombarding her with millions of questions, she was so patient and truly went out of her way to try and help us out. She was so caring. For example, today I went to the lobby and saw her at the desk, when I was trying to find the gym. She went out of her way to take me to where the gym is, and also showed me different routes to get to the gym easier from my room. I am so appreciative of her and also Dimitri from the front desk, who my husband really enjoyed speaking with and bantering with. Also the shuttle bus driver George was so sweet and really took a good care of us. We loved conversing with each other in our rides. Beyond the exceptional service here, the view and the room is extraordinary, and is totally worth it just to see the sunset from your private room. The view of the sunset is better than the town of Oia itself. Will definitely come back.

We stayed at the Hideaway pool villa and it was absolutely stunning. The service at the hotel is amazing particularly the concierge service. All staff are extremely helpful. Will surely return and recommend to all.
