Canaves Oia Suites

This elegant, understated suite hotel was far beyond my expectations. Every one of the hotel team was incredibly nice , helpful and professional. The suites were designed so you barely knew anyone else was a guest here. There was no noise from the common areas or the streets. It felt like you were the only person in a private home. If you are looking for a pool scene or nightlife , this is not the right choice for you. If you want a spectacular calming experience, where every need is thought of, and a front desk team that can make anything happen...always with a smile and warm greeting I cannot think of a better place. I spent four magical nights here. Only drawback, there are a lot of steps in Santorini... everywhere.

The hotel staff went over and beyond to make our honeymoon stay truely magical. They decorated the room to fit the occasion. Highly recommend!!

My husband and I had a wonderful experience staying at Canaves Oia Suites to celebrate his 40th birthday and our first visit to Santorini. especially the front desk team, made us feel very welcome and comfortable with their warm hospitality and fun conversations. They gave us a lovely tour of the hotel and our room, and the thoughtful birthday surprises made our stay feel extra special and unique. Everyone we met, from the housekeeping team to the restaurant staff, was very kind, friendly, and professional. Their excellent service made our trip relaxing, enjoyable, and truly memorable. Canaves Oia Suites is one of, if not the most beautiful hotels we have ever stayed at. From the minute we arrived, everything was amazing. The views are absolutely spectacular, the food was incredible, the rooms were beautiful, and the service was some of the best we have ever experienced anywhere. We were there celebrating my wife Sarah’s birthday, and they made it a trip we will never forget. They upgraded us to an incredible two bedroom suite with a beautiful pool in our room, which was such a nice surprise and made her birthday even more special. Marina at the front desk was amazing. She was so personable, friendly, efficient, and genuinely caring. She made us feel special from the moment we arrived. What really impressed me was that it was not just a few people. Everyone was incredible. The room service staff, bellmen, waitstaff, front desk, everyone we came in contact with made us feel welcome and important. I honestly wish every hotel and every business had half of what Canaves has when it comes to service and how they treat people. Sarah and I truly felt like we were the most important people in the world while we were there. You cannot fake that kind of service. It comes from the people and the way the entire hotel is run. Before our trip to Greece, so many people told us that all of the islands were beautiful and that we definitely had to visit Santorini, but that one or two days was enough. I could not disagree more. I do not know if it was Canaves, Santorini, or the combination of everything, but I would happily come back and stay for a week or more. There was just something about the entire experience that we absolutely loved. Canaves was one of the highlights of our whole trip to Greece and one of the best hotel experiences we have ever had. We cannot wait to come back. Thank you to Marina, and everyone at Canaves for making Sarah’s birthday and our time in Santorini so special. We will never forget it.

I don't even know where to begin...everything from the start of booking 8 months in advance to frequent email comms with their amazing concierge/staff, to the arrival and duration of the most amazing, fabulous trip - this was a once-in-a-lifetime experience, only to be enjoyed at the most beautiful lux boutique hotel in Oia/Santorini. I went with my partner, two brothers & their wives, celebrating anniversaries, birthdays, & retirements. Carefully planned itinerary for a 6-day stay with each couple in the Presidential, Infinity Pool, & Royal Pool suites with the most incredible views of the Aegean Sea! The rooms were just perfect & I can't thank the staff enough, especially Marina Epitropaki with her attention to lovely details, Valentina from their Spa, our tour driver Costas, & Margie, our hike guide to the most epic trek across the island! A vision of this heavenly place I had for 30 years, with the intent to celebrate with family, came true with the best assistance from Canaves Oia Suites and their truly amazing staff!! I'd give 10 stars if I could! Highly recommend!
