Best Hotel Experience!!!

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 5 days ago

Wow, this hotel was absolutely incredible, the hotel itself and the entire experience with the staff, all facilities, and the restaurant. One of our absolute favorite stays anywhere. Special thanks to all the staff, including Jason and Chris at the pool and Anastasia at the concierge, who helped us with many last minute plans for excursions and meals and set us up with great prices and luxurious treatment, as well as a special table at a restaurant for a Father’s Day lunch (American holiday). Selene is a must experience for dining! I’ll write a separate review for that. And, I wish I wrote down the names of the other staff who were soooo wonderful at the front desk!!!

An Absolute Paradise in Santorini – Unforgettable Stay!

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 2 weeks ago

The Property The hotel itself is absolutely amazing. It feels like a hidden, peaceful oasis tucked away from the bustling streets. The architecture beautifully blends historic charm with modern luxury, and the garden setting is incredibly unique for Santorini. Our room was pristine, beautifully designed, and offered the perfect sanctuary after a day of exploring. The Service What truly elevates Katikies Garden from a great hotel to an extraordinary experience is the team. The hospitality here is unmatched. Every single staff member we encountered was attentive, professional, and genuinely warm. A Special Shoutout to Jason and Alex! We want to give a massive, heartfelt thank you to Jason and Alex. You both truly made our trip unforgettable! Your incredible recommendations, flawless attention to detail, and unmatched hospitality made us feel completely at home (and a bit like royalty). Thank you for constantly going above and beyond for us—you represent the very best of Greek hospitality!

Fabulous hotel!

We had a group of 10 and we stayed in early June. The hotel was gorgeous! The staff was so accommodating and helpful at check in and checkout it was super easy. The rooms all varied because it was an old monastery, but each was spacious, clean and comfortable. The bathroom had Bulgari lotions and soap. Each room has a whirlpool with either a rooftop or courtyard lounge area. It was a little too cool to enjoy ours, but lovely in itself. If it was heated in cool weather it would have been perfect! The pool is an infinity and the perfect place to relax, swim and have a drink. As soon as we got there we thought the hotel was so lovely we didn’t need anything extra, the hotel itself was enough. When we first arrived the layout of the hotel was intimidating and confusing, but the staff said we didn’t need a map, we would get it in a day and they were right! It was easy to find my way around, although I didn’t find the “back door” below the pool until the last day and that’s when I found I walked WAY out of the way to get home. 😂. The lobby is the main entrance to the alleys and dumps you right above the main shopping and food area. Only a short walk to the caldera edge. The breakfast staff was very attentive and food delicious. We were very pleased with their efforts at sustainability and very happy with our stay overall. I will say that the hotel cost more than we would normally spend, but we indulged and we’re happy with our choice. I will only add that there was a restaurant off the beaten track near the hotel that we loved. Try it. Fusionelle. 🤤

Terrible experience

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 month ago

I would like to express my deep dissatisfaction regarding the service we received from your reception staff today. Yesterday, we asked the hotel to book a taxi for us for 9:15 AM. This morning, the taxi did not arrive on time, and we ended up waiting approximately 30 minutes. During this entire time, I repeatedly contacted the reception desk asking for assistance and updates. Unfortunately, the receptionist was completely unhelpful. He continuously told us to “wait five more minutes,” despite apparently already knowing that the taxi had actually been scheduled by the hotel for a different time. In other words, the taxi driver was not late — the hotel itself provided the wrong pickup time. What is even more frustrating is that instead of communicating honestly and professionally with us, the receptionist kept giving misleading information and showed no real effort to help or solve the situation. I even went personally to the reception desk, but the attitude remained indifferent and dismissive. This was extremely disrespectful and completely unacceptable for a hotel that claims to provide quality hospitality. This incident seriously damaged our experience at your hotel. I truly enjoyed Santorini and would love to return to the island in the future, but after this experience, I would never choose to stay at your hotel again. I also intend to share this experience in my Google review and on my social media platforms, because I believe other guests should be aware of the level of service we received. I hope management takes this complaint seriously and addresses the behavior and professionalism of the reception staff to prevent future guests from going through the same experience.

Horrible communication for booking

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 9 months ago

I had booked a massage with the reception fully written and confirmed and the next day the reception never informed the spa and there was no appointment left for my husband and I. I was only here for one day and highly disappointed that the reception couldn’t have the decency to make the appointment properly for me.
