A Lovely Stay at Magma Resort
The location of Magma Resort is situated with a view of the water opposite the caldera. The rooms are spacious and nicely appointed. We had one that had a small private pool, which was convenient. The food in the restaurant is delicious; we are still dreaming of the carpaccio of sea bass. The very best is the staff. Sara, the Guest Relations Manager, had been in contact with us before our arrival and always sent a cheerful, warm message. She had made arrangements for a wine tasting and followed up with us as to how it went. The night time housekeeper would blow us a kiss when she left the room. Pavolos, who had taken us to Fira in the free shuttle, saved the day when our small black bag was left in a taxi going to the airport. When we discovered that it was not with us, we called the hotel, talked to Elli, who had Pavolos retrieve it from the taxi that was at the port by then and bring it to us at the airport. We were beyond thrilled that we had not lost it. We are very grateful and cannot say enough about the hotel staff.

The property, service, and overall hospitality were exceptional, but the highlight of our trip was the incredible experience at Aegeo Spa. The spa amenities were top-tier, and the staff made us feel completely pampered from start to finish. A special shoutout to the amazing team members who took such great care of us: Villy, Carolyne, Eva, Paulina, and Anna. Their massage and facial treatments were absolute perfection—relaxing, professional, and rejuvenating. If you’re staying at Magma Resort, booking a treatment with the Aegeo Spa team is an absolute must. Highly recommended!
